I agree with d stamina but what about d stubborn yet unproductive bh. Except nadal, his slice works against many. Not to say use all slice but he could mix it up a lil more rather than just shank bh or hit short for a feeder. Djoko, Murray n nadal key strategy to win fed is still mainly hit to his bh cox they know fed will give them many free points. Yeah sometime fed bh works eg. London final last year but in terms of percentage wise it's still a good bet. No?!
And he breakpoint conversion rate is worst. 50% d opponent fight n another is he just give away. Frankly I never see a top guy just waste d chance as him so badly sigh.....why.....
I will tell you the sad but honest truth, you cannot accept it that this was/is/will/ be the way Federer plays.....that is how he will always play, the difference between now and then, in 2004 what he hit then fell in, what he is hitting now , is missing the line by 'inches'. He is not playing any different than he was in 2004. You cannot say Fed is on a bad decline, you must credit Novak for his good play, Novak has also improved, especially in 3 departments, first his belief/confidence is at a extremely high level, he believes anything he touches will go in, second his serve is now a weapon, he can get free points or set up a point with his serve, 3rd his movement and stamina looks good.
The final between Rafa and Novak is a good idea on how the rankings will play out. If Rafa wins, that means a healthy Rafa still will beat a healthy 18 match winning streak Novak, if Novak wins, it means he is a real threat to Nadal, I don't see Novak dominating on clay, but with his new found confidence and if he beats the 'current' King Of Clay,at Indian Wells, he may just perform or win at the French Open.
To be honest I think both of them are in for a loooong match, at least 3 hours, may go to tie breaks in all 3 sets!
I think Novak has the edge, he has decimated his opponents in the early rounds, handing out bagels.....his head to head with Federer will improve, I suspect now in his twilight years, the match up between Fed and Novak, Novak may win 80% of the time.
Nadal has to play outta his mind, the BEST match these 2 have contested was at Madrid Open in the semi finals........can't remember exact year.
