I agree with d stamina but what about d stubborn yet unproductive bh. Except nadal, his slice works against many. Not to say use all slice but he could mix it up a lil more rather than just shank bh or hit short for a feeder. Djoko, Murray n nadal key strategy to win fed is still mainly hit to his bh cox they know fed will give them many free points. Yeah sometime fed bh works eg. London final last year but in terms of percentage wise it's still a good bet. No?!

And he breakpoint conversion rate is worst. 50% d opponent fight n another is he just give away. Frankly I never see a top guy just waste d chance as him so badly sigh.....why.....

I will tell you the sad but honest truth, you cannot accept it that this was/is/will/ be the way Federer plays.....that is how he will always play, the difference between now and then, in 2004 what he hit then fell in, what he is hitting now , is missing the line by 'inches'. He is not playing any different than he was in 2004. You cannot say Fed is on a bad decline, you must credit Novak for his good play, Novak has also improved, especially in 3 departments, first his belief/confidence is at a extremely high level, he believes anything he touches will go in, second his serve is now a weapon, he can get free points or set up a point with his serve, 3rd his movement and stamina looks good.

The final between Rafa and Novak is a good idea on how the rankings will play out. If Rafa wins, that means a healthy Rafa still will beat a healthy 18 match winning streak Novak, if Novak wins, it means he is a real threat to Nadal, I don't see Novak dominating on clay, but with his new found confidence and if he beats the 'current' King Of Clay,at Indian Wells, he may just perform or win at the French Open.

To be honest I think both of them are in for a loooong match, at least 3 hours, may go to tie breaks in all 3 sets!
I think Novak has the edge, he has decimated his opponents in the early rounds, handing out bagels.....his head to head with Federer will improve, I suspect now in his twilight years, the match up between Fed and Novak, Novak may win 80% of the time.

Nadal has to play outta his mind, the BEST match these 2 have contested was at Madrid Open in the semi finals........can't remember exact year.

Yes credit to Novak Davis cup is the key like olympics for fed. His return is d best for now n as good as Andre. He plays great yet fed is bad. I don't expect 04-06 fed cox that was best record, more 90% winning percentage.

My heart is hurting cox I love fed so much. It was nice to watch him play back then but now is hurting not bcos he lose but the he gives away d match

Dont worry bro:) at 29 he is still a threat on court for many pros which many might have already retired at his age, he is the only few veteran that is still feared by many, though i may not think he will be like jimmy connors, but at least at his ripe age as a tennis pro he can still whack people on court or maybe before he retire he will win one more slam for us fed fans to enjoy one more time......

at no 3 in the world, semis in slam and 1000 series is quite a good result la, just that we're so use to see him win last time its hard to let go....but life goes on i guess for us fed fans just like how i let go of becker back then:)

let us enjoy his beautiful ground strokes and wonderful footwork before he retires and lets not over expect a veteran to outclass every improved young players on tour, its like expecting him to be like the anime hero whom can find whatever power to outclass the most impossible villian everytime even after 100 years old (although i would like that heheh).

lets look forward for his doubles match....play already ar? i not sure hahaha

prae and vobs, i agree with all yours comments. Just that too susah hati to see him lets go victory.... not to discredit his opponets but sometimes i just get too upset/angry with the way he wasted his chances... in 08 RG he got 17 breakpoints from nadal and just converted 1!!! Today also the same. The way he lost is not his opponent hit a good short or he was forced error but just some studborn Unforced Errors.... Sigh.... I bet Nadal fans would still b glad when he lose cox they know nadal never gives out free, the victor really has to earn it from the Beast... If i bet, i also on beast beast i also puas hati....

But then, I really appriciate what Fed brings to the tennis world.... his 05/06 is immortal... >90% winning in that 2 yrs, the fh, bh, footwork, serve, volley are just awesome.... This is perhaps the 4th generation he is playing??!! Look at his 'classmates' like hewitt, safin, roddick, nalby, lubijic, coria, (these shud b same age generation playing their primetime togerther) are all tutup kedai aldy...

I believe his game is still there, like i always say, he can move into 2nd weeks in slams easily and any players outside top 5 is towards his favour to win...

AHHH, I don't really consider Hewitt and Safin same era as Fed, they already had some experience on the ATP tour ahead of Federer.

For sure Federer has every chance to win again, its just a matter of playing within himself and may be a little bit of lady luck. However Grand Slams being played best of 5 sets, that may just be a little hard on the body for Federer, we will see, he does manage his schedule on the ATP tour better than the rest though.

Now if Fed played doubles instead of singles, less court coverage, I think he would crush and win a few Grand Slams on the doubles side :-D

INV, i tested 300T... very solid feel and more stable vs 300 but in long game its kinda beavy......
*
u hav to start lifting weights in order to wield a heavier raq longer
or, u can use the racket flow+lower string tension for extra power and proper weight transfer

usually heavy racket uses longer stroke + low tension
but i prefer mine at 57lbs, for the sake of control

QUOTE(tiangkim @ Mar 19 2011, 12:33 AM)
After added the leadtape is fine. And with full multi it shud b no more to complaint, finger cross

Dear fellow lyn, I will string dna n silk on my 2 bio300. My priority is feel, comfort, control, power in sequence. Pls advise tension
*
as what pooh said, use the recommended tension

i started out with the recommended tension, w/o +- anything
then experiment a bit with low/high but still prefer poly at 57!
ekekeke this setup works fer me

prae+yan = kaki low tension
me = kenot use low tension, mesti overshoot
lowest that i tested was 50, too much vibration going on

so i switch back to 57

angel you must be still young guy mah....I have tried at 55lbs to 60lbs......I can use the racket, but my arm/elbow will give me some pain......I rather play tennis than golf, so I learn to play at low tension, use whatever tension you are comfortable with.

TK you take Novak, I no choice I take RAFA!
