Seems like everyone is waiting for the review.
From winter review i think this game is playable, we should give it a try. Monthly subscription makes the game much more perfect and stable

Thinking of getting this but my only question is:

On unifi, how smooth is it (in terms of latency)?

same question...but on normal streamyx line...

What another incomplete release.
I thought they had fixed it.......

retail ver is different than the beta version, they should have fixed those crashes....

since its a dedicated server in US, just like MAG server, should be stable.


its all depends on our connection, 4mb/unifi should be good enuf

The game is almost unplayable at the moment. Mostly Asian region players are faced with the deadly freezing issue.
I have seen alot of players complaining about the freezing issue in the official SOE DCUO forum however there are still
no official word on the progress of fixing the freezing issue, they only said their technical people will look into the problem.

Yeap, many people requested additional days from SOE as they are not able to play the game and days are wasting,
how nice if they would give us an additional month of free play after the freezing issue is fixed haha.

Sure thing bro, i will create another character in Birthright.
I joined Justice cause previously joined a group of people to form a league
but then since they are "guai lous" and our online time doesnt meet
i think it will be hard to play together too.

So i will make another character in birthright, i'll post the character's name after i have created him/her


But now i cant even get into the game, it just keeps getting stuck at "Checking Game Assets (0%)"

Me still got problem with freez thing T_T the game still not stable...

u facing the same problem regarding freez?

yup, last night i was facing problems of freezing.
Always freeze after the 1st few minutes.
Seems like all players in Asia ( Msia, Spore, Indon, Philips ) and some US, Canada players are facing this problem too.
Last night at least can login and see my character for 2~3 minutes before it freeze.
This morning until now totally cannot login, keep getting stuck at "Checking Game Assets (0%)"

I hope the freezing issues get fixed 'cause I really wanna play this game... If there was a GL mentor...

Haha me too, actually before this i have no idea what are Green Lantern's powers ( as i dont read DC Comics, only watch Batman )
But after watching Justice League : Crisis on two earths cartoon.
I find Green Lantern's power to be somewhat unique and stunning.

The US servers will be coming down at 4 AM PT January 13th for a hotfix to address a few outstanding issues. Downtime is anticipated to be less than 3 hours. Players may notice the following changes:

All versions

-General: Added some client performance optimizations.
-Alerts: At the end of Area 51 players should now always find themselves in the same final boss instance as the rest of their group.
-Missions: In the Pest Control mission, Queen Bee has lost her ability to teleport through walls thus preventing player’s from defeating her.
-UI: Elements of the UI should no longer be visible during cutscenes.
-UI: After shape changing the style tab should no longer have “N/A” appearance slots.

PS3 Only

-Gameplay: Addressed an issue where players could occasionally fall through the world when zoning or moving around the cities.
-General: Improved client performance and stability.
-Missions: What’s the only thing worse than running into your character’s nemesis in game? Running into a door that won’t open. Players should no longer be foiled by those dastardly doors not opening in instances.

For those not knowing who the heroes are can ask me. I can give you every detail about them... Been reading DC and Marvel comics since small from my dad classical collections (Nearly 50 years already his comic collection can sell for good $$)

Yup, you need to use a US PSN. Doesnt work on our Malaysian PSN from what i heard.
The activation codes are meant for R1 so its not compatible with our Asian PSN.
