No breaking the seal will not void the warranty. My own lappy has been sent to service to change hdd once i already open one.. they never questioned me

The only thing they told me not to remove is the heatsink of the system. RAM and HDD no problem..

Well 1366X768 is normal for 14" laptops and below.. even common in budget 15.6" inch laptops..
Gaming wise it would be good. Because if you want Full HD 1920x1080 gaming.. you need better graphics card .. |

70c is ok what shared heatsink with CPU.. its not like 80-90 on the Alienware with seperate heatsink
