yea dota i tried , but for other games i dont know where to find them , because i transfered them from my friends thubmdrive
*
So does it works for Dota?
For other games might try to put in to folders like Programme Files/Programme Files(x86) and do the same.

Btw, anyone played NFS Hot Pursuit?
When I played until halfway, it will lag a while(sometimes don't) but the graphics will tend to blurr out. Especially the background of the trees, etc.

Yea.i wonder why mine is quite low.my normal temp when idle is around 60-63degrees

Added on February 2, 2011, 2:47 pmWhat cooler did u use?zalman?i saw zalman nc2000 selling at rm259 in batu pahat.thas gonna burn a huge hole in my pocket
*
Yeah low on load but quite high on idle.
= =

Hey guys do u notice that gaming on different games will sum up to a different temperature?
Hope it's not my problem but playing Split Second have no lag and crash with a lower temperature but NFS Hot Pursuit will crash halfway and the graphics will blurr out. I need to close and reopen the programme.
Anyone having same problem?

QUOTE(TheLoneliestPlunk @ Feb 7 2011, 12:21 PM)
Thx for the link, btw anyone can clarify that which SATA port are we using?
After reading, it says that the best way to do now is to switch the HDD and DVD drive to the 6GB/s SATA port.
So, now that we need to use 2 ports(assuming HDD and optical drive) any sifus can guide how to switch them to the 6GB/s port?
Is disassembling the laptop necessary?
Okay 5750G owners, the HDD is safe in port 0 while the optical drive is in port 2.
Thx in advance.

they were saying a 6% degradation after 3 years and normal users won't be able to notice it.. Seems like it wasn't a really big deal after all...
*
But worse case will be failed detection of D drive(optical drive) if it's serious, better safe than sorry.

Haiz, if can refund I will surely opt for refund, will probably just service the laptop unless if swapping to 4820TG can refund some money back as the price is lower than 5750G.

To check which port the HDD and optical drive is using, just go in Intel Rapid Storage Company and press the HDD or optical drive and it will show which port it is using.

I think most of the retailer will refuse to refund or exchange the laptop...sure need to argue with them...btw i cant expect to refund or changing to other laptop...need current performance a lot...==""

Yeah I liked the specs too, but sometimes is quite headache when my unit kb is not sensitive, can't detect battery if plugged in at the middle of usage and more, lazy to explain.

QUOTE(tonyvyp @ Feb 8 2011, 04:55 PM)
oh ya guys, can our 5750g watch movies in 3d? if yes, how to do it?
*
hmm.gif Don't think so if u're talking about 3D like in the cinemas, it will then require a 3D screen, 3D glasses and 3D movie file. But since technology is updating frequently, there will be no need to use 3D glasses in the future to watch 3D movies.

so even if i have the 3d glasses & 3d movie file, i cant tweak the lappy to let me see it really in 3d?

I don't think the screen is 3D, not in this price range.

QUOTE(faezfahmi618 @ Feb 8 2011, 10:00 PM)
hey guys can u help me?
when i put a battery on my 5750g i cant turn it on but i already fully charge it..why this happen?
*
Oh yeah, it happens to me too. Damn it, I was so nervous that time. U have to press it a bit longer and when u feel the air coming out from the left vent, it is going to open. My guess is that a cold start of the laptop is harder to start.

juz wondering, what brightness do u guys normally put? 100%?

i was asking coz last time my 4920 owez on 100%, & eventually the monitor spoilt
**juz like the mangekyou lost its light permanently LOL
*
For me, always put it at a lower state to save battery and decrease the damage made to eyes. Only max the brightness when using it outdoor to prevent reflection.

The U3 fits perfectly with extra space, movable fans and cost RM99(retail price I guess). Btw thanks Nurman for the information, seems like we need to use the laptop for now until March and wait for replacement, if refunding now need to wait until April or May also to buy a new one. Better refund later.
