hey guys
i wanna ask if i turn on my 5750g 12 hours per day, is there any chance my electric bill will get rm100 above?
is there any method to use laptop without using a lot of current?
sorry 4 my bad english smile.gif
*
if the laptop alone is on 12hrs a day i pretty sure ur electric bill wont reach rm100 per month.just make sure to turn off the screen when its on whenever u r not attending to it.
im not sure abt other method to reduce current consumption of the laptop, maybe u can try power factor corrector.

owh how about i playing video games 12 hours per day? any chance get higher bill?
is there any product that i can buy which it can reduce my current usage?
im very2 afraid if my electric bill reach to 100> per month
*
if u r playing games 12hrs a day with ur laptop n other equipment such as fan or aircond yeah theres a pretty high chance ur bill will hit rm100 a month.have u try looking for power factor corrector.im not sure how good it is but during the lab it is able to reduce the current significantly given that u have an inductive load.

what is power factor corrector?
is it some reducing current product?
can i get  this product  at low yat plaza?
*
u can say so.
it works by correcting the power factor in ur household.
plug it into the socket and turnn it on.juz remember to turn it off when there is no electricity usage in the house.
i dunno if u can get it in low yat.i came across it during the company promotion.
but its a bit diff with the one im running in the lab la.

i wish they are 15"  sad.gif  i wondering if the chipset problem is rly big like it can slow down ur lappy perfomance etc. cuz i rly rly like this lappy. the spec and price is awesome.
*
4820TG is 14" priced below 2.5k.its using 1st gen i5 processor n chipset so it wont have any problem with the recall.
u can always buy 5750G like us. Very good laptop for 2.9K.But it is affected by the recall as it is using SB chipset.

guys, does it means that you could lose data with sb chips? oh noo thats a rly big prob for me since i dont want my work projects lose ><
*
its just the affected chip.most probably the data will be fine as long as the HDD is connected to port 0-1 as the affected port is from port 2-5.
Most laptops only using 1 SATA drive and usually connected to port 0 or 1.
In 5750G,only the DVD drive is connected to port 2 while HDD is connected to port 0.

I never use max brightness as it can hurt my eyes pretty bad.lol
i only use one setting that is slightly higher than the minimum setting as i only use my laptop indoors.

hmm so is this ok when my left vent is hotter?
*
left vent is hotter because of the air being blown out by the fan from the CPU and GPU.its not alarming unless the temperature exceeded normal one.if u playing games like Black Ops, 70c is considered normal as some users reported temperature up to 75c during this game.I personally recorded 70c when playing black ops on my lappy.

which cooler pad is suitable, u2, u3 or infinite?
*
i guess this depends on ur laptop.make sure it sits comfortably on the cooler pad.have u look at zalman nc2000 or nc3000? but it cost around rm200-230.
