Amri Ginang
One of the most traveled photographers working in Malaysia today. Amri started his professional career when Bredenberg Fashion House in Stockholm assigned him to shoot their winter campaign 1985. Born in Sabah Malaysia, Amri studied photography in London and later worked as in-house photographer for commercial studios in London and Stockholm. His early images were characterized by a preference for black and white, which continues to comprise 50% of his work today. Amri is now based in KL shooting for clients all over!

Amri’s photographs have since appeared in advertising, editorial and corporate brochures all over- especially Asia for clients like Chitralada Publishing Thailand, Tourism Authority Thailand, Isetan of Japan, Inter-Continental Groups of Hotels, Tourism Malaysia, Conde Nast Australia, Draft FCB Malaysia, McCann Dubai, Rotana Broadcasting Egypt,clients like- Warner Music, Sony Music, Lowe Lintas, Unilever, Bozell, Leo Burnett, Petronas, Inter-Continental Group of Hotels, Tourism Malaysia, Tourism Ministry Indonesia, Chitrala Publishing, McCann Erickson, Draft FCB, KLCC Properties Berhad, BP (UK), PNB, Next Advertising Thailand, DY&R Thailand, Malaysia Airlines, Emirates Airlines, Unilever Malaysia/ Thailand Indonesia, The Mines Beach Resort, Quality Suites Group Indonesia, etc.

Creative Youth Photography Project is to empower urban teens, through photography, to experience their world in new ways and make positive changes in their lives organized by Pixel Playground 09 supported by Creative Youth Malaysia and Ministry of Youth & Sport Malaysia collaborate with professional photographer.

Creative Youth Photography Project is innovative and interdisciplinary photo-based art education program for our youth. This is an excellent companion workshop to "The Professional Portrait”. No matter what level you shoot at, you’ll find that there's plenty here for you to learn. In our experience, most working professionals often find great value in re-evaluating their approach based on this new perspective.

Creative Youth Photography Project gives local youth the opportunity to express themselves visually in a supportive environment. Classes with ignite the imagination and provide valuable life and work skills.

Creative Youth Photography Project is a youth development program that offers a variety of photography classes, service learning opportunities and entrepreneurial projects for youth ages 13-30.

Every youth deserves the chance to be creative. Photography is an ideal tool to engage and inspire young people who are struggling in their lives. The nature of photography uniquely combines instant gratification with the potential to endlessly rework an image to perfection. Our goal is not merely to train our students as photographers, but to prepare them for successful lives. We do this by teaching them transferable skills.
