Waloa, Magicka a bit buggy when i got it from the 4 pack. But the multiplayer is damn funny. Anything you do can kill your teamate in the most horrible way. I keep casting heal on myself but always for get that i had a earth spell before it, so i end up crushing myself with a boulder. If you guys want i can make Steam purchases. But do tell me beforehand.

I would end up killing nthe entire group, i always forget how to cast spells. Imagine i cast meteor shower by accident, everyone and everything dies. Or i cast repel on a half dead teamate, then that fella cant even heal.

Starting MNC 4 pack!!!

After the Magicka 4 pack i want this one too!! The game is fun and wacky, the servers available are decent with 100+ ping. The classes are simple but they are quite difficult to master.

Anyone who wants in on this please send a PM. I can't keep track with everyone.

Update: So far we have me, keretapir and mR Beanster. So we have 1 more slot left. The last guy to confirm coming in gets it~

Online distribution will grow and keep growing. It never took off until Steam made it a trend and fact. People are gona complain about this putting stores out of business, im not sypethetic to the stores since its a business anyway. Saying that you are not happy with changes makes no sense, you might aswell say you are against advancement in business practices or any new idea. If the stores cant make a profit there is nothing anyone can do, thats how business is run, no different then a fish monger sending fish to your house compare to you going to the market.

Who said anything about Steam. We have other sources.

As much as people would love to defend their local stores. The advancement of digital distribution will eventually overshadow the stores business. Steam will not be the ones killing them off, but others are (google it). What Steam did is presenting another form of distribution, which is now being adapted by even EA and Sony. Coupled with weekly promotions and sales, they have indirectly told the users to wait and see on their stores every week.

Would you buy Arkham Asylum for RM119 while Steam have it for RM30 after a year?

The only reason i see people ever going to support stores is that freebies are given to compensate. Something that works very well with swag whores.

But don't worry, we have one of the worst internet providers here, and stubborn acceptance to new things. It will take a few years to adapt even if US is doing it today.

I don't care if people will follow suit, or mind if they were to find some other way to get the game.

I was once like you too, believing everything you just said. Appriciation for value when the games come out, supporting local stores hard work etc. I agree fully. But those are just personal views on what is presented. Doesn't matter in the business world.

People will always go for the cheaper option (malaysian mentality of wan more discount), Steam collectors where they always want to expand thier list (its real).

No one cares where where the cd keys comes from, as long as it works who cares. Its a business, same as any other business out there. I stoped living in my own world long ago, as bitter as the business world is, the bigger shark will always kill the smaller one.

And yes, i already got BATMAN ASylum when it was 75% off. Being a working man im not in the hurry to play anything, i can wait~

I thought we were having a discussion about digital VS retial. Facts against personal opinions. I don't see any of my post attacking you in any way. I may support CHeese in terms in his ideology, but that doesn't mean i have any vendeta against you.
