Those game's multiplayer if cannot tahan for more than 1 year then that game not worth that price. Eg. For Brink, I will wait for year end sales, that time if still got ppl playing and those big problem had been fixed, then I will buy, if not then no need buy and can save money.
Eg. good multiplayer game such like Bad company 2 until now still got so many ppl.
Normally now spending "full price" to "do beta test" is really not worth, some developer got fix it after get the feedback while some never fix it and the game slowly less and less ppl playing. Waiting for some time can get a good price plus have a better quality game(stable). Buying full price only for a few famous developer/publisher like Blizzard.
