cause nowadays GC to high end and need a massive cooling, so M17x no longer can fit the monster card and need a larger PSU. so they are coming out the 18.4" as thier high end laptop series

i don't mind single GPU but 2TB 6970...

so now we will have M11x for maximum portability, M15x for average portability with good specs (GTX460M), M17x with... retarded price and specs, and also M18x?

then who the heaven want to buy M17x anymore LOL?
funny right? even funnier is you have to topup to equiped with GTX460M.

better end up with M15x or wait for M18x 

I wonder why not GTX470M/GTX480M in the M17x R3 ..

Students still in sklh menengah shouldn't buy an aw laptop yet. Coz u guys really have no use for it. And don't use the excuse I have to do my homework or folio. No. U don't need tht. Your homework are all assigned from the textbook or workbook. For your folio, u don't need a gaming laptop to work on it, just need a simple laptop on only.

TS please update. I'm moving away from portables to desktops. M11X sold and Area-51 M15X going for sale by next month. Delete my names from those lists, thank you.

I'm still with Alienware. Desktop, not laptops.  MOTHERSHIP in the truest sense.

Means I've just purchased it, and will continue using it. I'm changing from portables(laptops) to desktop.

1) wads the difference of m17x-r1 and m17x-r2?
2) dual ATI RADEON HD 5870 OR single AMD RADEON HD 6870M

Other than Coolermaster Notepal Infinite, what would be the best cooling pad for M15x?

whats d difference between 2000 and 3000 ? So far i only know NC1000, NC1500 and NC2000 (im using)

Is the Alienware M15x really worth the price it is ?
