understand ur frustrations.
was using ip4 before switch to galaxy s.
initially de screen colors are awesome and widgets/home screens are great.
but soon de fone became laggy and not as smooth compared to previous experience wt ip4.
den i read up abt de ways to speed it up, un-root, darky, lagfix, etc.
in the end, became too complicated.
even though xda forums, lowyat forums are filled wt info n friendly ppl, but too many short-forms and jargons.
then i wonder, paid so much for this fone but still must spend so much time to make it work properly?
so instead of continue to waste my time, switched back to de simple and effective ip4.

The feeling that you've paid for a high priced phone that did not deliver the performance as it should realy bugs me...
Even if this all could be fixed with custom ROM ... its still doesnt avoid the fact that it's original status and performance should be the main concern for the phone
