Seriously you can use ovi map.
It looks easier to use for me.
*
tq... now using ori pnht c6, but i add a few thing to the original released...

for gps i use both, ovi maps is easy to use but the map is less detail than garmin... i use garmin most of the time, got an up to date map and poi from mfm...

Hey guys, I'm wondering if there are any themes out there that are as fast as the stock soundwave theme?

Thanks! smile.gif
*
as fast as soundwave?

i did notice the lag in theme are caused by theme effects... if i turn off the effects, then all themes are equal...

hi all..

i got problem here..
i ady update v52 firmware..
after sign helox .and install ..everything work fine..
but when to hack my fone..the process stuck ..
is that normal??
*
QUOTE(preluder84 @ Feb 16 2011, 01:09 AM)
that mean ? cannot ar bro??
aiyorrr....!!!! regret la update firmware...
iskkkk!!!! i upgrade v.20 to v.52.

got another way to hack my fone??
hadoi...noob here.. notworthy.gif
*
nothing to regret lah bro...

heloox is an old method and is not working for the latest and newest version of firmware...

you can grab the prehacked 5800 v52 core, then replace the ori core downloaded using navifirm and reflash your phone...

or you can just reflash using any 5800 cfw which is all of it are prehacked...

or you can just reflash using any c6 cfw for 5800 which is all of it are edi prehacked...

it is up to you... but i suggest c6 cfw from PNHT with no mod added, just a plain and clean c6 firmware for your 5800... rclxms.gif thumbup.gif rclxm9.gif

*
perhaps same case as me... rclxms.gif

cant send mms but able to received, blame the phone...
later found the problem, me using hot ticket, with zero credit...

hahahahaa, maxis is suck, hot ticket cant send mms, the only way to send mms with hotticket is using internet ticket not the call/sms ticket...
then topup rm3 just to send the mms..... huahuahuaaaaaaaaaaa... all telcos are blood sucker... vmad.gif

how to update to the latest ovi maps ar?
im currently on fw v52 but the ovi maps is still not the latest one..
*
latest ovi maps is ver 3.06, grab it at nokia betalabs, need to register first lah...

old maps for ver 3.03 or 3.04 is useless with ver, so need to download a fresh new maps via internet directly using wifi or 3g connection...
malaysia map is about 45MB, so youre advised to update the map using wifi... rclxms.gif

Your phone got vibrate once when the power button was pressed?
*
if got vibrate, either one vibration only or a cont long vibrate, then the phone is able to revive back using jaf...

download the orginal v52 firmware with navifirm, then flash using dead usb method... happen to me several times, no need to worry m8...

just googled around .. this is my set

0574569 5800 Movistar Spain ES B
*
a little advise for you...

your phone is a telco branded one lah... movistar did not release a new update for your phone... taht is why no update is found using fota or ovi suite or nsu...

need to change the product code first to be able to update like a regular phone... malaysia code is :
0573786: APAC1 BLACK MALAYSIA
0570197: APAC1 BLUE MALAYSIA
0591825: APAC1 GUN and BLACK MALAYSIA
0570196: APAC1 RED MALAYSIA

choose one that suit to your phone color, the different is just a themes only...

the youll be able to update to v52, that is the simplest method... just connect the phone, start ovi suite and update the firmware or just use fota or nsu...

other method is flash using jaf, no need to change the product code...
download v52 firmware (malaysian one lah) using navifirm, flash with jaf and done... enjoy...

fyi, using jaf to change product code...

jaosnboyyyo...

that's a common problem, you install too many apps...
to remove app, delete/remove from menu directly...
to change java suite setting for virtual game/keypad, mod the manifest file and repack...

Hi guys, my nokia 5800 having problem in connecting to my wireless router. My tube can detect the wireless but whenever i connected to it and start surfing, then it disconnected itself.

I'm pretty sure this not my tube problem because i have no problem in connecting to other wireless network or router. Just this router in my home got problem. This router is provided by Streamyx, model Innacomm W3400V. But my laptop can connect to this wireless no problem. So i guess this router might not compatible with Nokia???

Does anyone using this model with Nokia 5800? Any solutions can shared?

Thanks in advance...
*
i already found the solution for this matter...

just update the firmware, download from innacomm website, the wireless firmware update will solve the problem instantly...
please do backup the setting on pc, update the firmware, restore default setting, then update with previusly saved setting...

now its working properly... my tube is able to use wifi until the battery is empty...

hello there. i have one question here. i already update my 5800 to latest version (v52.0.007). then i trying to flash it with c6 v11.0.029 firmware. but my phone hang during the final flashing. is it because c6 v11.0.029 firmware can't support my phone that have latest version ?

btw,im trying to flash base on this tutorial.

c6 v11 is an obsolete released... what make you choose the old relase instead of the new one?

and imho, c6 v11 is not meant for v52 ofw...
