Tumpang ask question, for the electric wiring on port extension how did the electrician do it? Break the wall to do wiring internally or do it externally?

Will their 'plaster' back the wall if do wiring internally?

Dear zie86,

In fact you can do it 2 ways, cheaper option is to put in casing while another option is to hack the wall and then conceal pvc piping & wiring, ending with plastering work usually done by your main contractor.

Hi andrewektai,

Thanks for sharing. It's good to know the available option to do the wiring.

I prefer to hack the wall, do it all inside the wall.

By the way, your wiring quotation for is based on external or internal(hack wall) ?

If possible, PM me the electrician contact.

Thank you.

Do I need to wait for electrician to put pvc conduit or can I already ask main con to put the pvc pipe as he has not plaster the new wall yet??

Is pvc pipe /conduit the same as those use for water pipes?

Jojo, no it's not the same!
Water pipes are tougher grade material while this electrical pvc conduit is of smaller diameter and softer grade material ..
