You using the govibe magnum with usb connection??
I suspect the hiss may due to your CPU noise? My Magnum with Dt880 250ohm works fine on my rig.
But currently i only use the magnum as portable rig with my Ipod.

Desktop rig feeding my dt880 much better with Maverick A1 (Mullard tube)
I see many dt880 user here, wonder what's you all's setup like to get excellent sound? Discussion sharing with me is welcome, smile.gif pm me.

Maybe. But even I use a 3.5mm to connect to magnum line in, the hiss still exists. It really annoy me when I listen to some slow or soft song.

In a few months I'm gonna take revenge by spoiling myself with a headphone purchase. I'm gonna get myself an Alessandro MS1i afterall. laugh.gif

Have to wait a few months la first, to collect enough funds. I think Jaben also has had problems with MS1i stock a while back, dunno now though. Jaben, got stock ah? tongue.gif

It's been on and off and on and off but in the end something that is energetic with electric guitars is what I want, and what seems to be the strong point of the MS1i, not surprising from a guitar amp manufacturer.

I just hope nothing bad happens while I'm stockpiling my cash. dry.gif

Hmmm........a bit risky since I am in the middle of collecting funds. Afraid I might not have the funds when the time comes.
Approximately how long is the wait/how long have this waiting list go on for?

Yes, Grado Labs does manufacture headphones for Alessandro, but they are tuned to Alessandro's specifications. Hence the slight differences between the Grado and Alessandro models.
