FIFA president Sepp Blatter thinks that the English Premier League could learn from the Spanish Primera Division and pointed to the fact that no player based in England made it into FIFA's World XI as evidence for his claim.
This guy has said A LOT of stupid things but this has to be the dumbest yet! An organization he is related to chooses the players for the FIFA world XI and he's using that as his evidence!! MASSIVE LOL. Does the old fool know that all the players in the so-called 'best league' come from only 2 teams? I dont think he realizes what a league means. 2 teams stacked with world XI players and 18 other teams who're rubbish in the majority of instances does not make it the best league. So little competition and excitement.
To be honest, both Platini and Blatter have this kind of Grudge towards English league.
I know its VERY easy to hate the English, but the issue is not the cocky english people, but the BPL. I hate the England squad as much as the next guy,and also the english press but anyone who actually follows football SHOULD KNOW that the BPL is the best league in the world. Barca or Real(lol) may be the best TEAM in the world, but as far as leagues go,BPL is tops, and its not even close.
I hope we play our normal 4-4-2 with berba and rooney starting. But Spurs is a super attacking team and i think we need to stock the midfield with Fletch,Carrick,Ando. Park wouldve been great for this game. Or we can even try 4-4-1-1 with Giggsy behind Rooney/Berba.
Its easy to name names but we have to keep in mind that Manchester United is one of the best and most popular teams in the world and being the manager of a team like Man Utd means having to endure extreme pressure from all parties involved i.e. fans, players, management.
We need a mentally strong and,it goes without saying,a technically gifted manager with the ability to watch over many areas of the club at once. Its not only about managing the first 11,the manager also needs to have an eye for talent,to develop and prepare youth players both physically and mentally,he needs to be able to handle egos (not really a problem at Man Utd) and above all,he needs to be able to build chemistry between the players.
For these few reasons,i don't think managers like Bruce,Hughes etc will be able to cope with being the manager of Manchester United, as good as they are.
lol fantastic night so far. If it was 2-0 i wouldve been worried considering how many games we've had this season where we dominated first half, led by 2 goals and then got pegged back, haha.
Adui whats Evras problem..? Is he pulling a Rooney or is his agent being a bast@rd?
He has absolutely nothing to complain about. He's the first player to be included in our line-up for any Manchester United game and no one has complained about anything regarding him. If anything,it must be the bloody press' fault for linking him here and there...
i dont think there's any problem with evra..he's just talking about " IF the club/SAF decided to let him go, it will be only REAL MADRID and that's only IF the club are positive with it. "
Yeah but this is not the kind of thing you should be talking about at this time of the season. Especially when we're right at the top. It could be a bit unsettling for the team and the fans. On top of that, his boyfriend Park still in Asia, later Park heartbroken.
this is an example of paying too much attention to the press instead of your beloved club.......
Ish,no need to act so high and mighty la Im a little worried about it because this rumour has been around for some time, dating back to last year when this was brought up : "Patrice Evra eyeing up a move to Real Madrid?" http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id...ansfers&cc=4716
It seems he has been flirting with it quite a bit, thats why i am a little concerned. No need to give me the 'you believe papers, you suck' song la
