Need help. ... i can run prime95 for about 2hours and no BSOD/error dectect, but when i run ITB it cant even pass the standard test 1... got BSOD and i have tried up the v.core up to 1.525 but still get BSOD (even at 1.545 i get 0x101 BSOD error...ouch) but how can i run prime95

Here my rig.

CPU - i5 2500k @ 5.0 (c.volt:1.515, temp max 75@prime 95, others i set too auto, need to check for more details if someone can help here)

But if i run multiplier at *48 then can use ITB at max setting....
so is my current volt need to be added??

So here my current setup... before this it was OC @5.0ghz but get BSOD when tested with ITB but can run prime95 for 2hours with no problem, so i adjust abit and this is what i used for now:
CPU@ 4.8Ghz, temp max 74, c.volt read @1.465 (in bios) tested using ITB max setting and 1.488(gpuz)

I really want to get the 5.0 Ghz if can..... full load temp below 85 >.<

mobo - Asus ext IV-z
psu - silverstone AX 850
gpu - giga7970 oc @ 1025/1450
RAM -4G*2 G.skills ripjawX F3-12800CL9D (1.5v, dint OC yet becaused i dont know how)

PS: or i just need to run in standard mod for ITB? is the maximum is too much? because it used all the RAM?

PS:my CPU was water cooled, GPU not yet as dont know where can i get the block..

Max temp (GT.Temp) 70, 78 80, 77 why the core temp so much diffrent between the core? how can i make sure the mobo give volt nice to all -to optimize the heat

SEEM's this is the best setting i can get, because run all the stress test and it past..... but if anyone know anything (tips) for OC up to 5.0 and above give me a hint please

around 122.xx~123.1xxx what this mean actually ? higher or lower better
@ 4.6ghz (multiplier 46)
@1.390 corevolt
DRAM v 1.500
max temp 70

other all auto...

4.2Ghz (mltp 40)
other i forgot because this is auto tuning from ASUS Ai suite
if im not mistake BCLK at 104.3
other's forgot...
Max temp 56 >.<

All this was tested 20round of maximum IBT and around 12 hours prime95 bleech

How to get 5.0ghz >.< what need to change (i mean other's from core volt).... icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

PS: sorry for the long data tongue.gif
really need help here sweat.gif

EDITED: add some parameters doh.gif

Yeah im using watercooled atm but after 1.545 volt it seems it still cant hit 5.0... nah, my chip really bad maybe... oh well i think im ok with 4.8ghz@1.490

Let hope next IB will come in with 1155 sc and i get a good proc..

don't know what's the reason behind this but that low GFlops means CPU throttling/ underperformed. could be VRM overheating
turn off all power saving features C1E, C3. C6, EIST
windows power management set to high performance
in LinX set priority to above normal/real time, run all mem
or could be other OC settings failed to work
I'm using Arctic MX4, easier to apply than Tuniq TX4.

Ahaaaaa..... that an idea!!!

I will try to off all the AutoBoost and off all the ECO saving features . . . and will try if i can hi 5.0 or not... Maybe the volt inside the motherboard not stable because of the auto boost ? hmm.gif

wish me luck~
