ei guys, i got a question.. this seems quite odd but whenever i OC my 2600k HT on say for like 4.6ghz, whenever i run IBT or linX, i always get inconsistent gflops, ex:

58
52
48
48
48

and that is under maximum setting. i know it means unstable overclock, but i already pumped so much vcore! i already tried feeding it with 1.4v @ 4.6ghz to no avail.. still the same inconsistent gflops.. but, BUT, i passed blend mode on prime95 for 8 hours..

but when i tried disabling HT, i get consistent gflops (68, 68, 67, 68, 68), and it requires me less voltage to feed the core.. but the thing is, the main selling point of 2600k over the 2500k is the HT, right? i could care less though, since i only use my computer for gaming and surfing only.. no picture/video editing and any other tasks that requires threading.. i can turn it on when i need it anyways..

so, what could be the problem?

HT on = unstable gflops
HT off = stable gflops..

thanks guys.. hope you can help me on this one..
