QUOTE(owikh84 @ Jul 27 2011, 08:21 PM) yes, could be this reason also, since higher VRM freq will increase temp. VRM is to regulate the voltage for stability & OC. Higher VRM freq increases OC range; wheres lower VRM resulted in better system stability. I've just saw an Asus forum recommend to use 350 VRM frequency for OC.. i found it http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1578110This post has been edited by DesktopLimousine: Jul 27 2011, 09:35 PM

btw, i've stress it with Linx and no error for my CPU, maybe it is the problem with the RAM? VTT? how to set VTT?

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Jul 31 2011, 02:28 PM) BSOD 124 is more likely related to insufficient vcore. increasing VTT might help. For Asus board, VTT is now combined into VCCSA/VCCIO. thx for the guide, will test it with IBT and Linx, prime95 too long :S Added on July 31, 2011, 3:20 pmwhat stress setting should i set for IBT? stress level maximum? my current RAM is 4GB (2x2GB) 1600mhz This post has been edited by DesktopLimousine: Jul 31 2011, 03:20 PM

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Jul 31 2011, 10:35 PM) actually safe voltage for SB up to 1.55v. But i don't think air cooler is able to do handle if not running in an aircond room. around 4.0GHz most SB could use stock voltage @ 1.25v; 4.5GHz at 1.35-1.4v. but then again don't forget the vdroop effect. normal mode should be fine. pls refer to Asus P67/Z68 OC Guide for more OC tips. mobo specific question sometimes hard to answer here. what is the value for threads setting in IBT?
