yes

I believe u didnt stress enough RAM amount.
Pls include Task Manager performance tab to show mem/CPU usage during load.

Prime95 custom blend full RAM min FFT 128 for 6 hours.

LinX full RAM on W7 x64 SP1 20/50 runs.

Btw BSOD during idle can be overcame by enabling all the power saving feature EIST, C1E, C6/3, etc

Added on July 29, 2011, 11:50 amA freshly installed W7 x64 SP1 + Dirt3 already used up 40GB of my raided SSD.

I got the same issue with my old MIVE B2 last time.
I couldn't change the BCLK some ppl told me that IME part of the BIOS chip is corrupted.
Pls update Intel Management Engine (IME): http://downloadmirror.intel.com/20261/eng/....14.1107_PV.exe

clear ur CMOS and see. I believe u need to change ur DRAM settings abit.
53 shows DRAM OC failure (wrong settings). smile.gif
Using slot A2 and B2 (slot 1 and 3) for 2 sticks is correct.

Sounds bad bro. new mobo wor... sweat.gif
nvm slot 2,4 can be used just fine.

My previous EVGA mobo, I thought one of the RAM slots is dead.
manatau observed it closely, found dirt stuck on the slot contact pins I guess it was TIM residue dropped inside the slot. Put in & out the RAM for quite some time, then only the RAM was finally detected & running flawlessly.

guys OCing an i7 2600k on a MSI Z68MA-ED55 mainboard, cooling it with a H50 dual fan push-pull setup

pushing it at 4.2MHz and the CPU temperature went up to 74-81c at full load. is that normal? stressing it wit prime95 for about 5min and couldn't bare to continue looking at the temperature, had to stop it right away.

some advice on cooling or maybe a better oc settings? mainly use for rendering

reduce ur vcore notch by notch until u get BSOD.
lowering CPU PLL from 1.8v default to 1.6-1.7v (depends on CPU) also will help in reducing the temps.

stressing 2600K HT on H5O is like that, unless if u wanna turn off HT & run cooler.
there's a way to improve the performance of H5O, put the radiator at area near 5.25" HDD bay give it better intake air.
get a better CPU cooler ie. H100 or Noctua DH14 etc.
