Mine p8p67, i5 2400 also the same, not showing dual channel. Is it still working at Dual Channel? QUOTE(kahjye @ Jan 19 2011, 08:44 PM) Sigh lol , it so difficult xD Added on January 19, 2011, 8:45 pm* Do i need to upgrade my PSU? * The spec im using is i5 2500k p8p67 le 550w gigabyte odin pro hd5850. 2x2x2 gb ddr3 1600mhz ram :S My psu works fine but after i on..it off for awhile then it ONs back...any clue? :S then after that it works flawlessly QUOTE(kahjye @ Jan 20 2011, 12:26 AM) QUOTE(kahjye @ Jan 20 2011, 12:32 AM) The new bios will make available in few days time in ASUS official website. Wait the new bios out then flash it. The new bios will solve the BCLK, memory clocking especially 2133mhz and power cycles issues. There is a "TPU" switch on your motherboard. Don't be lazy to read through the manual. With "TPU" enable, the motherboard will do the overclocking itself without much manipulated of settings to be done by yourself. To enable, pls shut down your PC. - Power on your PSU - Enable the "TPU" switch - Power on the motherboard - The motherboard will do the overclocking itself and finish the whole process in less than 5 minutes. - Boot into window and you are done. Open CPU-Z to check the clock speed. - Enjoy |

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Jan 20 2011, 10:46 AM) LE is not meant for OC, with that weak power phase iM afraid u cant make it stable when OCed. Get a better life with other board lol. U hv a good proc but wrong mobo. I agree, the good seller where i bought my set told me,since i'm getting i5-2500k, i need to get PRO or DELUXE instead of LE to fully utilize the 'k' capabilities. The bundled software TurboV make it much easier for newbie OC like me. |

When i go to my computer icon, right click and select properties, i see my computer system properties. Processor speed it states 2. One 3.3GHz, the other 5.8GHz. Why is this so? Is this common to all i2500K that overclock? I did install core temp to monitor CPU usage and temperature. When running Unigene, I notice the clock ranges from 1566 MHz to 4498MHz (I set OC to 4.5GHz), and sometimes even hit 5800MHz (though for a short few seconds). CPU highest temp recorded was 51°C. Is this normal?
