oh mf u missed the muppets?!!! COME ON. i reckon the parents had more fun than their restless kids.

o ya there's one shitty part about the flick. one has to endure the tiresome toy story short in the beginning

life's a happy song, when there's someone by your side to sing along...man i can't believe i watched the muppets twice! It was really good. The humour was clever and well paced. My only gripes were probably Mary didn't get too much screen time (which is fine), and that the movie took some time to get off the ground, until Kermit arrived. Lol

Finally I found someone who feels the same about Inception as I did. Great concept, but it slowly became a typical action movie with lots of boom bang shooting fighting once they entered dream world. And most importantly none of the characters were interesting or charismatic enough for the viewers to actually care about.

The Prestige is probably still Nolan's best film.

I find Hugh Jackman's character even more annoying than the whiny kid in Real Steel...

I dont mean here, but in other places on the net you will find many who dislike Inception. Everyone here loves it. Most of my friends love it.

Real Steel was just an above average mainstream crowd pleaser, dont expect to get emotionally engaged with it!

I watched The Rocketeer last night, one of my favourites when I was a kid but I had forgotten almost everything about it. So much fun! And an awesome score from James Horner. Simple, straight-forward, good-natured action movie. No one smiles an evil grin like Timothy Dalton!

you know what, I'm really glad to have found two people who share my opinion on inception. my biggest gripe with the movie was the suggestion at the end. is it still a dream, is it not? all of my buddies were like...WHOA MINDFCUK! I'm like, if it really is still a dream, then the whole 2.5 hours (I forget how long it was) was totally inconsequential! Doesn't make a difference if he was trying to convince a tycoon, an emperor or Darth Vader, because in the end, it was all a dream.

The Legend of Hercules (2014)

What I didn't like about the movie was the fact it didn't really acknowledge anything about Hercules being mythical other than the frequent references to Zeus and Hera

The Nemean lion was a teasing hint at Hercules' 12 labours, but I was disappointed that they didn't go down that route and chose to make a derivative 300-like film (seriously? who uses capes in battle?)

I just caught the Big Lebowski today...and I'm not really sure about it. One on end, it's a mindless caper that's gives you some pretty lighthearted fun...on the other end, I don't quite get why it has such a cult following. Can anyone else let me know what they thought?

Murder on the Orient Express (1974)

Goss, I'm on the blast from the past, trip!! laugh.gif For some odd reason, I have never watched this before.

I have heard about it mind you, but never watched it.

I'm sure most of you probably heard of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot, and I believe this would be his most famous case! (And also the author's favorite film adaptation)

Albert Finney's (last seen in Skyfall [2012]) Hercule Poirot (a fictional Belgian detective) is impeccable!!

Just see his night "routine" before he goes to sleep and you will not help but notice, this person is immaculate in EVERY FACET OF HIS LIFE!

This movie has the whose who of Hollywood, Ingrid Bergman (I just want to be alone), Jacqueline Bisset, Sean Connery, Anthony Perkins, Vanessa Redgrave, Michael York (Basil Exposition anyone?? tongue.gif) etc, etc... No wonder the tagline for the movie was "The greatest cast of suspicious characters ever involved in murder."!!

If you have not read the book, and you like drama, for Pete's sake watch this. I promise you, you'll never guess, WHO DID IT!!

My Two Sen
