True Grit: 8/10

Coen brothers remake of a John Wayne western if not mistaken. Hailie Steinfeld should easily win bloody Best Supporting Actress since her maturity and "guts" defies her young age. Good plotline buildup towards the middle but somehow the tension fizzles out rendering it a little anti-climatic. Not Coens brothers best, but still a good watch for terrific acting.
