The Hunt (2012)It's a Danish film. Recommended by my friend. I decided to watch this after watching Mads Mikkelson's performance in Hannibal drama series. The story revolves a kindergarten teacher who was falsely accused by one of the female kids (his best friend's daughter), after she being rejected by the teacher. Owing to not knowing the consequences, she made up the lies and told the nursery staff that the teacher showed his private parts to her. After being questioned, the situation worsens and turned out to be sexual abuse in the kindergarten because of her unclear testimony. And like rumors they spread to everyone and the teacher was then labelled under suspicion a sexual abuser. People started to discriminate against him. even his best friend disbelieve him as he thought his daughter would never lie. And, his life started to fall aparts dogged by suspicion and discrimination. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « One would need some patience to finish this movie as the movie is kinda slow-paced and sometimes could be difficult to be understood. There ain't much glamorous background music either. Nevertheless, I do find the plot is interesting and thrilling. The movie itself did actually tell us a lot of messages. For instance, different natures of society were well portrayed when a innocent man was accused and labelled as abuser, as well as naivety and foolishness of adults in believing only in one side of story. Not to mention of destructiveness of rumors too. Of course, at the end the teacher was freed from suspicion as the kid told his dad the truth. But, it wasn't a definite happy ending. The director ends the last scene by once again emphasizing the main message of "The Hunt" showing that once a person is labelled under suspicion, it will hanging around the person. Anyways, Mads Mikkelson's certainly did a good job portraying his role in this movie, hats-off to him . Rating: 8/10

Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler)
Live action ver. of the popular manga/anime.
I've never read/watched the manga/anime before, but I roughly know its synopsis. If you're avid fan of this series, I would suggest it would be the best to stay off this live action ver. 'cause it's rather disappointing. Story strayed too far away from the original plot. More like a cosplay movie to me (the costume, make-up, setting are nicely done though).
It's a great mistake where the protagonist Ciel's sex is changed to female (where in the original story Ciel is a male). Plain boring for the 1st half of the show... Some action scenes after that... Acting feels abit quite forceful...Unnatural... :/
Quite shocking in the end that it turned out to be dark romance story... (***There is no such thing happened in the original story). Probably it's made to please some teenage girls (sorta twilight = =)
It seems there's gonna be sequel movie for this...Oh no... Not the worst adaption I've seen (Dragonball was plain horrible), but it's still can be watched if you really got nothing else to do.
3/10
