Shock Wave - 6.4/10
A better Andy Lau movie after a stink of Vegas Macau Milano Wong Jing crap movies. Not really action packed but movie is thrilling and loud explosion and sometimes too sudden boom!

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - 6.2/10
Mild joke and decent adventure. Nice old songs. Not really funny at best just a little jiggle. After watched TFF 'A Gift' few weeks ago which is burst-out lol, this joke is nothing. A better visual overall. I didn't come out with complete satisfaction just like first one.

You Mean The World To Me - 5/10
Movie touted as same league as Ola Bola or The Journey but failed. Not sure lack of budget or what but the story are not interesting at all. Not enough depth and movie is quite sluggish. Hokkien lang probably will watch this though.

King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword - 6.6/10
RT critics are all morons. Limiting themself to Hollywood. We have better movie exposure. If I can shut down that dumb site I would. Movie is watchable despite modern hairstylist.... and probably clothing as well. Music too maybe. Don't worry all Guy Ritchie's movies were all not bad.

A Silent Voice - 6/10
An overhyped anime. 'your name' still better. Just decent.

Genocidal Organ - 5/10
Political anime not my type of anime. Highlighting the tech shown in the movie though. Looking possible to be realized in real life.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017)

Truth to be told. I did not want to watched this.

I went to the cinema to watch King Arthur, the the time was off, and this was available so...

The reason I did not want to watch this was because Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) left a bad taste in my mouth...

It was terrible...

Does Disney really need to squeeze ever penny from every franchise they have?...

Supposedly, this movie cost USD 360 million to make... Yeah

And have to add, it actually showed.

IT IS BEAUTIFULLY SHOT.

Now, I have complained about the 4th outing of this franchise bombing. One of the reasons being the bad storyline.

I have to admit, the storyline here is slightly better, and overall, it is... enjoyable.

So, I really do hope that Disney retires this now.

It is a good point to retire. It actually give closure to the whole thing.

I don't know if anyone has watched it, but would recommend In Pursuit of Happiness.

Let's Go JETS! <チア☆ダン> - 7.5/10
Woila this Jap movie is so good like celebrating. This movie is an example of success story that could rally for those in need of motivation. Based on true events, from small town nobody girls to international fame. Hardwork, teamwork, dreams, and the view from the top of mountain(be champion). Suzu Hirose is just a perfect cast for this role. Her smile and personality in the movie just perfecttttt and irresistible to watch on-screen. Cheerful, natural, beautiful! Let's go JETS!

77 Heartbreaks <原諒他77次> - 7/10
Heartbreaks for 77 times will they get together at the end? This romance drama portrays similarity to real life situations where girlfriend forgives her immature and childish boyfriend 77 times. Any heartbreaks scenes in the movie could be one of your scene in real life. The couple is adorable at times also emotional at times. There's some funny moments also heart warming moments. Watch for some well known HK actor special appearance such as Anthony Wong Chau Sang, Lawrence Cheng Tan Shui, Michelle Wai, CKwan, Kara Wai, Gillian Chung, Francis Ng etc. Movie is a good watch for me and surprising another good title added into director's(Herman Yau) resume. Herman mostly made bad movie that did not so suck much but recent titles made him otherwise.

Despicable Me 3 (2017) - funny...... 
Deadpool (2016) - Very very good, simply excellent.

3/10 Seems like a lot people is not liking the latest transformers.. i probably skip watching it in the cinemas then..

1) There is paying homage and there is out right plagiarize... Oh goodness, nothing is spared... Star Wars, Star Trek, Avatar... Michael Jackson's music videos!!??!!...
2) Rihanna.... plays... the... comic relief... RIHANNA!!!!! Desperate much????!!!
3) This movie's budget is estimated at €197,000,000, and they cast Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne as leads... Both whose charisma gauge is stuck at 0.... And whose chemistry together gauge also stuck at 0... Who cast this movie???!!!

If you think the Wachowski sister's Jupiter Ascending (2015) is bad... Wait until you see this.

I am out of the cinema an hour plus, and my head is still spinning about how terrible this movie is...

Did anyone watched this at all??

Well, Guy Ritchie actually directed two box office bombs in a row....

He had not performed so badly as a director, this his marriage to Madonna!!!

Okay, truth to be told, I actually kinda like this.

It is not the "REGAL" Arthur we are used to.

It ask the question, what if Arthur, an orphan, was brought up, in a.... Brothel!!!

Will his leadership quality "flow through"?

Quite beautifully filmed.

A "Guy Ritcher" treatment script

And the direction was pretty good.

I am not quite sure what the critics had against this.

It was, fun, different and take chances with a pretty familiar story/movie.

Anyway, that's my two sen.

Annabelle Creation - 8/10
a bit too exaggerated but nice to watch nonetheless  and stay for 2 end credit scene

The Adventures (Mand) - 6/10
this is like Chinese version of Mission Impossible movie 

Cars 3(Eng) - 6/10
Decent movie and it felt it has reached its time.

SPL: Paradox(Cant) - 7/10
Still couldn't surpass original part 1, nonetheless part 1 director returns to direct this and it did not disappoint. If you already watched SPL 1&2 why skip this? Sure no Donnie Yen no Wu Jing no Zhang Jin no Sammo Hung. Nobody want to see Louis Koo fight. Film hold it's own.

Vivegam(Tamil) - 7/10
My first Ajith Kumar film. High octane fast pace over the top defying logic action bangs for every penny you paid. Massive heroic like presense and innumerable punch dialogues spoken are the highlights. Movis has a lot of action from begining until the end. Open up your mind and go watch this and be rewarded.(only Eng subtitles)

Mon Mon Mon Monster(Mand) - 6.5/10
I watched this because of the director's previous work "You Are the Apple of My Eye". Movie is dark and violent, totaly 180 degree turnaround compared to his previous work. Cast is young and fresh they did good to sustain the movie. Visual and makeup and production design also good. This movie portraying school bully mostly. That's the message of this story.

What exactly was Marvel thinking...

Putting whip cream on dog doo doo may "look" like a good idea and then it suddenly isn't?

It used to be, Pixar can do no wrong, and Pixar has since proved otherwise.

So now, the same can be said about Marvel.

I understand that this is NOT a movie, it is a TV Series pilot that is shown in the IMAX cinema.... Remember my whip cream on dog doo doo analogy....

*Sigh*

You should have know better Marvel.

The only reason why I watched this at the Imax theatre is because a friend of mine wanted to watch it.

I could have watched American Made....
