May i ask what do i need to be a host in dota game?my budget just 1.5k for cpu...dont wan amd.

dota very low requirement la. 1.3k is more than enuff jor. host game not depend on ur computer, is depend on ur connection speed bro.

my P4....1GB ram...desktop can host dota games or any other warcraft games as well as online games like maplestory, ragnarok, etc etc without any problems..
the important thing is the internet line and ur connection speed...
mobo ethernet port or normal lan card is enough as well
some people buy gaming lan card etc etc..
p.s. my streamyx package is 1.O Mbps

Dont wan AMD?? 1.5k for intel pc not enough laa..if not take Celeron..

if i'm u , i'll spend RM600 to buy a 2nd hand pc either of p4/c2d (since u said u want intel) as long as the pc have gc radeon 9xxx series and above/geforce 5xxx series and above + 1gb ram (if using win xp)

and the another RM900 i'll subscribe unifi either of 5m/10m/20m xD!~

the balance of $ , i'll go betting under table dota match
