Grrr... 4 days already still no reply about my N8's issue. I tried dealer, NCC, Nokia Facebook and Care Line. All promise to get back to me within 48 hours. But till now, no news. Haiz. Already don't have my phone since 23 December.

The melco case don't fit very well, IMHO. The holes for the physical buttons at the side isn't ngam ngam. So, things like the camera and zoom button are a bit hard to press.
Finally got back my phone. During collection time in the afternoon, the phone froze and auto shut down when I'm testing in NCC.
Then I have to sternly insist that they sort it out for me by today. Turns out they only do a software update (like the 1st time) and not a mobo change like what they told me that they're gonna do.
So, 1 1/2 hour later, they did it up for me. Sigh. Hope no more problem.
call everyday. hantam them kaw kaw. some here suggested faking to be a VIP, or know a VIP. if all that fail, u got no choice but to get physicalÂ
I called NCC, Nokia (Don't)Careline, emailed and FB. Got it sorted out in 1 week. When get phone back, make sure you test it while you're at the NCC.
You know why it's hard to get through to NCC? The ppl servicing customers at the counters are the ones who are supposed to answer the phone calls. If many customers, mana ada chance to answer phone.
I need to highlight that at no point in time, I ever lepas geram or raise my voice.

Check your imei number and fyi , after changing mobo it will change your imei number too so did they write the new imei number on the warranty receipt?
No wor. Just their word saying that mobo have been changed. No update of the warranty card or anything. Sigh. I was really suspicious, but it's already late and the shop is closing.
Can I check the IMEI number on the phone? How to check? *#06# ?

That problem persist after the Services by NCC? Have u ever try to reinstall the apps? or maybe doing soft reset? For AccuWeather, U may try checking the GPS services. U can resetting within the Setting Wizard as i found myself when keep anoyyed by 3G Connection always running by itself, im just delete the Internet 3G Access point inside the Network Destination haha..
Yep. After changing mobo. Did a soft reset as well. Not sure what's wrong. GPS seems to be working fine when using Ovi Maps.

One thing I'd like to share. If you ever have the misfortune of needing to send your phone to NCC in Amcorp, try NOT to deal with the ah beng looking customer service personnel there. The lady in tudung is very much more helpful.
stil cant beat n8 la. Wat's the problem wit ur phone now?
After mobo replacement, now it auto off 2 times already. Imagine if one day I really emergency and need to make a call and the phone die how lah. I scared dy. And somemore after mobo change, NCC tarak update my warranty card with the new IMEI number. And till today, they still have not call me back or email me about what to do next.
I already collected 3 NCC work orders to fix up the phone. Where got energy to send it to NCC again... Nokia Malaysia think I'm 'water fish' meh, to keep sending phone back for them to repair. I have to pay for parking, petrol and time somemore. Damn tarak syiok.

SweetPuff , i would suggest you to contact Nokia via Email and state your problems. They might help you with it. I emailed them lots of time previously and the NCC replaced my mobo in 2-3 hours , problem solved.
Hope this helps.
I've already:
1. posted in their FB 2. email them 3. call NCC
All 3 pun tarak reply. Damn crap customer service ler.
