dont care atom or amd...

what i find it is quite interesting while you away from main rig...

at least it is portable for perhaps auctioning, guild chat, alt leveling which doeesnt require heavy gaming...

well of course it does not meant for raiding...

it might suitable for people like me who always away from my rig during going back to hometown... lol

if thats all you are expecting from it, yes it may be good.

but anything serious, i highly doubt. not to mention with the resolution (understandable, small screen, shitty hardware), if you've seen their "demo" video and not the screenshot, your character practically takes up the entire f***ing screen already. you cant really see much on anything else.

well, raiding is fine to a certain extent maybe, if ur like on farming runs, being a hunter and just sit there afk shot, it'd prolly work wonders.

then of course, there is always the consideration of the price. remember that OLED keyboard? full touch screen LED? those do NOT come cheap. OLED dynamic keyboards (check the price for this baby: http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/) itself is in the expected 1-2k USD, then theres the whole thing being an "actual rig" (you know, proc, graphic card, rams, maybe load it with some ssds derp lol), touch screen capable LED (nowdays smart phone? iphone, android? look at the prices of those, its in the 1-2m RM++)

with all that considered, and the spent money, you know you'll probably be able to buy a pretty decent alienware laptop and my god even those are overpriced where you can probably spend a fraction of the money, and get the same if not even better performance by other "not so uberly branded" laptop like the alienware.

i wonder if ANYONE of the above posters who supported the switch blade thought about all these. good concept no doubt, DEFINITELY good for FUTURE applications/usage/innovation. however as for now:

mobile gaming DO NOT exist...
any1 who ever owned a gaming spec laptop would know how pointless it is for the price especially with higher requirements of games...
