QUOTE(nd_4ever @ Nov 30 2011, 12:22 PM) Hi there BB sifu & users here, u can shrink the os before u install it. delete unwanted fonts, language, games, help files, ringtone etc. i shrink my os, still have 70mb freeI came across this topic here & I would like to ask is there any solution for me to free some memory out of my BB Bold 2 9700 which I've upgraded to OS6 version 6.0.0.570 (2534) under platform 6.6.0.212? The problem is I've installed some apps thru BB App world like WhatsApp, Facebook & few small sized app. & I only left with 15.6MB out of 256MB available in my BB phone memory. I've tried to uninstall most of the apps out & now currently it's 32.9MB free. I also noticed that my battery life is bloody short & drains out fast within a day & I need to charge it everyday. Anyone care to share with me on the steps on freeing off some memory as I found it very laggy for my BB. Thanks in advance! |
