Anyone can tell me the best stable broadband for wg ulu block 3???minimarket auntie told me there P1 and Yes4g hv no coverage on block 3..... celcom/maxis only lo....between this 2 which one better?? any senior here previously live on block 3 de can giv comment??

Jz finished my first year as UniMAP-ian....kinda regret be part of Chinese S's committee now, felt that i learnt nth thr HAHA plus my gpa dropped on 2nd sem ...didnt managed my time well even though jz 15 credit hours
I always wondering if such activities will give you benefit in the future?
But do you agree involving in such university-level activities do help to develop one's soft skills? I mean not by jz participating but be part of Organizing Committee...

Your first choice? Anyways gratz to you on getting UniMAP's Mechanical eng..... Mechanical eng considered as one of the top course in unimap. Having said that bcoz they prioritize Mechanical Faculty development n also quite a number of achievement at national/international lvl....Hv their own school built at Main campus,Pauh. You guys will be hving yr classes thr most of the time,campus facilities all fully equipped n still new.

Within 15mins walking distance to Main Campus's library, dn worry orientation week u will get to tour the library(word cant describe how awesome the library it is)

For food aha i love their canteen food although im of diff course(each campus hv their own canteen)...i drop by thr to hv my lunch sometimes.

Hostel condition: Most of the first yr student will be staying at Wg.Ulu. Location wise .....wg ulu is the most strategic n most convenient out of all hostels .... 15mins bus ride to Kangar,Perlis....But around 45mins to Main Campus. So if u're having class in the morning , then u hv to wake up early la...

Hostel condition's wise...For you to find out yourself...HAHAHA Uniciti Alam,Sungai CC hostel is the best...thats all i can say...
Free shuttle buses provided at all hostel....can go to anywhere u want but u just hv to follow the bus schedule
If u wana subscribe broadband connection....go for Digi. Best connection in wg ulu...

For wg ulu hostel, which i think u guys will be staying thr.
kettle n iron nt provided...mattress yes. For last yr...its 7 ppl per house... 3 room per house , 2 ppl each for the first and second room(all double decker bed)....3 ppl for the third room(one single bed and one double decker bed).
2nd room is the most spacious out of all. Good luck in getting 2nd room If u are lucky u get to choose during registration time. 2 Toilet per house....but size small.

For Uniciti Alam, Sungai CC hostel. (Best hostel so far)

This hostel jz built last yr...and we are the first batch to stay thr. So everything is new and the most comfortable one....8 to 9 ppl per house....2 big size toilet per house( 3~4x size compared to wg ulu one..no joke). No double decker bed..... Spacious enough to stuff in 3 single bed.

Coin operated washing machine provided at each hostel....

Too bad u should go back n hv a visit...its open for everyone to visit during orientation week.
Yes...the hostel at Main campus is only for the 4th yr student. Main campus hv shuttle bus to commute from each campus to another campus....but nt frequent and got specific drop point..so u still hv to walk la...sometimes its vry far. LOL....For first yr student they hv to stay in wg ulu / sungai cc hostel still 45mins bus ride to main campus....damn i want sg cc hostel....but my course == .....am nt allowed to stay thr

Eh now 2nd year i also staying in Wg.Ulu....NO Choice material school...forever Wg ulu .Now at blok14...also 2 double and one single...5 ppl per house hiak!

each school...Manufacture school canteen food more variety,whereas mecha school only malay style economic rice, but the fried chicken best! lol

Each engineering school hv their own campus alrd built at Pauh....except Material school n Biosis school. Building in the proses for this 2...i saw they put sign board dy....Material school sign board on one big big empty land. Sad for us now our class at Muhibah....no chance go to Pauh study also....environment better thr...and the library !!!

Been to NS camp bfore?? If you do then should be no prob....adapt n get used to it then ok dy ...erm that for Hostel Wg Ulu....

Last yr...Civil Eng student stay in Wg Ulu for one sem...then second sem move to Sg CC.

so I nt reli sure for Civil Eng u guys will be staying in Hostel Uniciti Alam,Sungai cc or not....If you do then congratz...thr macam high class apartment

For civil eng course you guys will be going to 2 diff place for your class....distance from hostel ...one is 45mins bus ride another one is around 15mins bus ride only. Shuttle bus will be provided dun worry......

Civil engineering is actually building engineering....UniMAP jz upgrade the title to Civil Eng...jz got recognition after the change of course structure i guess....considered new....

Didnt take Sg CC hostel picture. Last yr SUKMA participant/helper and recent ASP...Asia Summer Program. All the participant from international uni staying at thr...
hmmm...So u imagine hw good can thr be. HAHA.....Thomas Cup still got LCD projector screen for the student to watch thr de leh....and many more...

Study smart n hard...dn slack. First yr is the only chance for u to score high cgpa haha......coz every course got mutual subject...Banyak tips . 2nd yr n so on will be much more harder la..this coming sem i going to start my second year so cannot further explain how tough the exam can it be.

You can choose your housemates n roommates.....but with the condition go register tgt....jz queue up tgt in the same registration counter...can pretend u guys dunno each other when they ask ma....

But choose ur roommates enough la....whats the point wor if one house all alrd know each other... Can get to know new ppl if staying v other ppl as ur housemates.... Some of them jz get to know each other during registration time and thr u go...we are housemates nw....same race thou.

Go ther earlier....then u hv more choice..if u register late then sry la..no choice for you...they randomly arrange for you.

Which course r u?? i think its new hostel. If new one... Its the same for other university too... Toilet available at each floor... Whereas KKG n uniciti Alam, its more like house concept instead of jz room. So each house will hv 2 toilet,much more like ur own home.

Eh sry misread ur previous post... Jz edited. I guess KKA is the new hostel in pauh... If thats so its more convenient for you. You will be having ur class thr as well, might consider cycle to school everyday, must be vry fun. Unimap got provide card/coin operated bicycle system too... Free of charge for first 20mins ride..

Lol dn worry, shuttle bus will always be thr for you...follow schedule will do

Like us senior...we all hv friend in each school, thanks to the hostel arrangement last yr. All of us from diff eng course stay in the same place

Eh you should take these remaining time to learn cycling nw haha.

If its under diff faculty... Chances for you to change course r vry slim to be honest. U hv to get approval from both your faculty dean those document n letters... Thr r cases whr senior managed to change course within the first 2 week but vry vry rare,do know some of them. If you managed to change course during 2nd sem, you still need to replace back that specific sub credit hour of your course bfore you graduate. Must hv alot of determination if you reli wana change. Gl on that anyways

If u wana change on second sem, good result is a must.

After 12 gate close.. Pandai pandai la wana sneak out.... Usually the gate lock quite loose..if u pull it, theres😯one man gap 😁😁.

For girls take care of your personal safety... Dont wear hot short wandering around hostel, Mostly international student/student like to drink secretly, they mabuk mabuk then u know whats next liao har...pandai pandai.. If guard see u they will giv saman....
