what TS said, that "auto" no longer works, but still work by set the TM dns manually on computer network settings,
so TM's DNS servers are working fine,
the problem is your router fails to obtain DNS correctly from TM, so without DNS assigned on your router, any devices, laptops, computers connected to the router do not get DNS automatically since there is no proper DNS from the router,
and that is why you can browse by adding DNS to your computer network settings
two options:
- just like you did now, set DNS for every computer, laptop, devices to get it work
- get access to your TM unifi's router, check the DNS settings, better use manual, you can set TM's DNS in it ,but I recommend you to use Google DNS, set it in the router so all your laptop, computer, devices will work again with "auto" assign dns like old times

yes, that's TM DNS problem, Google DNS is much better, I've been using it for years
