Pak Hitam Here, seems like a lot of people here are just expressing their own twisted opinions and second hand experiences (I.e. My friends' brother-in-law has a cousin who rented...).

While I admit that a lot of PH are careless with rented property, It's usually people with kids (All races with kids are bad renters. just avoid) Also, just don't rent to people who look like they are drunk lah, Its simple renting principle.

Many here are just being racist, I'm looking at you Mr.JJchampian , reading about this thread makes it sound like Mirage By The Lake is full of black people when in realty its probably just 1 unit

I purchased a house, It's what most foreign friends who are staying long-term are doing (Uzbekistan, indonisa, Sudanese and so on), mainly cause the Malaysian renters are getting more racist everyday. You know what I mean, questions like "Are you Muslim" "Are you Indian" or "Are you Chinese" are just not acceptable in a supposedly multicultural society.

Too many universities targeting spoiled rich kids in putrajaya now, so maybe you are right.
