Pak Hitam Here, seems like a lot of people here are just expressing their own twisted opinions and second hand experiences (I.e. My friends' brother-in-law has a cousin who rented...).

While I admit that a lot of PH are careless with rented property, It's usually people with kids (All races with kids are bad renters. just avoid) Also, just don't rent to people who look like they are drunk lah, Its simple renting principle.

I purchased a house, It's what most foreign friends who are staying long-term are doing (Uzbekistan, indonisa, Sudanese and so on), mainly cause the Malaysian renters are getting more racist everyday. You know what I mean, questions like "Are you Muslim" "Are you Indian" or "Are you Chinese" are just not acceptable in a supposedly multicultural society.

no disrespect here, but i stay in Mirage and it is not a single unit. Go to the Gym and see how they are breaking stuff there. Not to mention the harassment women gets in the gym, it seems every one of them is personal trainer. Oh, did i mention how many of them dont even have cards to go in and out of the buildings? The Loud music and parties?

and the way they drive and park? rules dont seem to mean much to most of them. im sure some are nice people but the majority well.

to be fair some locals are not much better

why the management doesnt do that? The moment they do, and put fines to the landlords, the landlords will start being more selective with their renters.
