Sumbang Tabung Ganjaran Akujanji melalui akaun CIMB SAM

2011/01/02

Blogger sukan, Mohd Rizal Hashim turut menyumbang RM3,200.

there is no minimum limit.. if you donate RM3, you have given more than 10 cent to every player and staff...

LCW's equivalent to the Suzuki Cup is the Olympic Gold Medal.. the tension in in the air running up to that final vs Lin Dan in Beijing was not much different from the Suzuki Cup final..... the whole country was practically holding our breath for both of them... only the end result different..

Of course it will be weird holding a fundraising after he won the Gold Medal considering government already pledge RM 1 million to each Olympic goal medal..

but this issue (Tabung Ganjaran Akujanji) like they minta sedekah/simpati to us
i totally not agree with this
Poor country compare to us like Indon and Vietnam their government can give big amount $$ if they can win any cup.
wht not us? (our government)

P/S : To our Malaysian die hard fan,Im not blame our team but im just blame for this called "Tabung" doh.gif
Im Muslim,if in my hand now got rm5,i better choose sedekah my money to Masjid/anak yatim

notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
*
most of the players do graduate from government funded SSBJ. So the G do had a big hand in the development cost. But, IMO, that's reasonable spending. Our society really reached a new low if we start being stingy about our tax money used for schools..

KBS do give a reward of Rm 5k for each player for the win. That is the standard amount for regional championship i guess. And, if you haven't read the memo, our government really don't have a lot of money now. Budgets cut kept increasing from year to year now in most government agency.

Don't see the Tabung as mintak sedekah. They certainly don't ask for it. See it as an excellent opportunity for us to PERSONALLY participate in celebrating in away that truly REACHING them. Compare that to saying "Good job thumbup.gif " in LYN or in front of your TV each time they replay that Safee Sali goal..

BTW.. i dont mind if you have an extra RM 5 and you decide to truly give to anak yatim instead..wink.gif

dude, this suzuki cup is consider SEA cup, not even asia cup level yet.

of course credit must given to the team since long time the national team no such glory,  but to ask malaysian donate money to them ... is kinda nonsense

there still a lot malaysian out there starving for food ...
*
yes.. even at SEA level, it is a cup that means so much to all the people... its definately more prestige than winning the 'long boat' world cup or 'kabbadi' universe cup for example... due respect to long boat and kabbadi enthusiast ... have you ever been in a time when one sporting event can touch soo many Malaysian hearts like that in the whole of your life?... Only Thomas Cup 1992.... Chong Wei vs Lin Dan - Beijing 2008 and ...Suzuki Cup 2010 come to mind... all of them worth 1 day celebration holiday.

What is the best way to celebrate them then.. posting in LYN ?

The way I see it, ade people akan gunakan peluang ni utk kenakan gomen.

No offense pada yang mengutuk, THIS IS A CHOICE. Nak derma, go ahead. Tanak, diam. Jangan la pulak nak tuding2 jari kat gomen ape kebende. The best part, ade plak aku terbaca post yang cakap cuti peristiwa yang Najib bagi aritu cover utk New Year? WTF?

Korang ni hipokrit syal. Aku jujur la cakap. Malaysians skang ni ramai yang dah opportunist. Baik Melayu, Cina & India.

Pastu nak crite pasal duit tax? Brape yang korang contribute setahun? Itu pun dah bising nak mampus. Kalau duduk kat UK or negara2 yang kuat tax lagi la dah memekak kot. That's why orang2 kat sana banyak benefit, dorang kene tax tinggi. Kita kat Malaysia, tax tak berapa nak tinggi tapi bising mintak 1st class punya benefits lah. Tapi mentality sumenye 3rd class.

Kalo takde, diam. Takyah nak pura-pura alim. Takat bayar zakat fitrah tiap kali Ramadhan/Syawal takyah nak bising cam alim sangat.

Simple as, nak derma, dermalah. Tanak derma, diam.

No offense, tp forums ni selalu nye cam tempat orang utk b****ing/whining about their dissatisfactions. Sama cam blog, tweeter and FB. Nice effort in bringing up this.

Kalo takde, diam. Takyah nak pura-pura alim. Takat bayar zakat fitrah tiap kali Ramadhan/Syawal takyah nak bising cam alim sangat.

Simple as, nak derma, dermalah. Tanak derma, diam.

No offense, tp forums ni selalu nye cam tempat orang utk b****ing/whining about their dissatisfactions. Sama cam blog, tweeter and FB. Nice effort in bringing up this.

IMHO, derma is not the right word for that tabung.. its a reward, or maybe present.. (ganjaran = reward =/=derma). no?

if that is the case, then its not the same case with poor give money to rich, etc, etc... its like we give present to someone we like/love, on a special occasion, and that person might be richer than us, maybe friend, parent, our boss..

but i opt not to do it (yet).. me also not really rich yet..heheh

Don't ask what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

Kalau boleh beli jersi Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, MU ori mahal2 siap terbang ke Old Trafford lg nk tengok perlawanan live. Awat x boleh nk derma RM10 kt pemain Malaysia? Kalau xnk derma sudah jangan nak fitnah pihak lain. Siap masuk politik2 lagi, tah pape. X leh bezakan satu isu lain dgn yang lain.

Pasal benda nie pun nak gaduh..

Rilek ar kawan.

Nak bagi. Bagi. Tak nak bagi. Tak payah.

Aku fikir lar.. Kalau orang Indonesia selamba je bagi sumbangan.
Tengok bola kat stadium pun sanggup bergolok-gadai.

Student IPTA skang kaya raya je. Lelagi dari UiTM. Don't bluff lah. Been there, done that.

Skang ni it's more to choices. Which one yang that person nampak value for money. That said, kekadang dorang ni beli hape2 ntah or masuk skim MLM. So, alasan tu memang xlogik, at least bagi aku. Itu blom lagi nak amek kira of those yang gi social parties ke ape.

Apahal flaming2 dalam ni? Dah xde life sangat ke wahai keyboard warriors? You suka you bagi, you tak suka you keluar. Very simple.

But I do wonder that how the players will accept the money. I highly doubt they will take it, since they have jobs, and have their own salary. Surely they'd feel macam tak kena je if they accept it. I guess in the end they will donate to Pusat Jagaan Rumah Kesayangan instead. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

How can that be the same as this donation? They are clubs, our team is a national team. They were in bankrupt position, Malaysian team is not and will never be. Their resource come from the owners, fans, marketing etc. Our national team sponsored primarily by the government.

I got nothing to against this move but like others, I found this kinda funny and bemusing. Isn't our tax are supposed to cover this? And will the money donated go to the right channel?

But kudos to TS for opening this thread smile.gif

How can that be the same as this donation? They are clubs, our team is a national team. They were in bankrupt position, Malaysian team is not and will never be. Their resource come from the owners, fans, marketing etc. Our national team sponsored primarily by the government.
I got nothing to against this move but like others, I found this kinda funny and bemusing. Isn't our tax are supposed to cover this? And will the money donated go to the right channel?

But kudos to TS for opening this thread  smile.gif

thats is not true. Government grants only count very little in FAM's annual budget.... even in multisporst events, football is under Cathegory B - use own bajet first but can claim back if won medal..

Our tax did cover the 5k they will get separately. Only as a supporter, do we feel that adequate with the momentous nature of the occasion... do WE want to collectively contribute more to economy of the industry as a personal supporter.....

again, fair enough if you think so. but i do think that the reward should be kept to a reasonable enough level for the players to stay as what it intended to be; a reward not something to make them lupa diri. and the rumoured rm25k per player is more than enough reward already IMO without any further contribution from the fans

but then again i'm not campaigning for people not to donate or anything. just saying i won't be doing it and stating my reason for it

don't you think even with the 5k bonus from the government is already enough?

what happen to the prize money anyway? we get 100k USD right? won't it be divided among the whole team i.e. players, manager, coaches, physios etc?

Tak yah la kita gaduh pasal bende2 camni. Ni baru bende kecik kita dah gaduh. Susah kita nak bersatu kalau berterusan macam ni. Mengenai pasal 'tabung' ni, bagi aku ni macam salah satu cara nak beritahu players malaysia yang rakyat malaysia masih menyokong players. kira macam extra motivation walaupun aku rasa players da sedia maklum dengan sokongan yang diberikan masa dalam stadium.

Tak perlu la kita nak ukur atau persoalkan pasal sejauh mana masing2 menyokong pasukan malaysia. setiap orang ada cara yang tersendiri. tak pergi stadium bukan bermakna tak menyokong. aku pun tak pergi stadium gak sebab masa lawan tu aku kat Sarawak pasal kerja tapi aku keep track dengan score melalui handphone jer.

pasal derma tu plak, hak masing2. nak derma, silakan. tak nak derma, tidak apa. tak jatuh hukum haram pun kalau tak derma.

Awareness doesn't necessarily involved the squad that won the cup. Road tour, more friendly match, stressing the development on young kids are the method that I can think of. Do you watched the TV3 program (I can't remember the name) where young potential kids were gathered all over from Msia and trained. Soccer kids or something. It's a good program and I am not sure why the never continue that.

Soccer Kids and MyTeam? I don't know why those programs has been stopped. Maybe because lack of funds, dedication or something. Or maybe it is not so easy to become a professional player by graduating through reality program concept.

I don't know but I am quite impress with the way thee young kids played in the Soccer Kids program. If I am not mistaken, they beat the Japanese team (same age category). It was quite impressive.

Soccerkids still there at TV3.. maybe this season has ended..

BTW,, my purpose of creating this thread not just to create awareness.. i want to create the idea that if you work hard for your country to bring success, we will not only back them up morally.. but also financially...

i want parents to train their child to be a footballer beacuse not only its a noble career, but also a rewarding career if you work hard enough..

it doest mean without the money they wont do it, just that it feel nice to be and felt rewarded if they do. We also had had that moment in our working live now dont we...

any other suggestion how to make proffesional fotball as an attractive and rewarding carreer? or we just left it to the G to settle it for us as usual?

career as a football player in Malaysia is rewarding, more so least for the top players. i'm pretty sure that the monthly salary for our top players (the Aidil, the Zaquan, the Safee, the Shahrul Idlan, the Baddrol) reaching and well over the 5 digits bar. and if you are special, go abroad and the pay is even better

the problem for me is not career as football player not rewarding enough, but the awareness among the parents about sports industry (as a whole not just football) as excellent career prospect. in my opinion the pencen scheme seems to be a step in the right direction to increase the confidence level for everyone that career as a sportsman is indeed rewarding, or at the very least terjamin

hahaha, Malaysia will never progress higher in sport or economy when people always compared them with this, that etc. Just like our government comparing the price of fuel with the likes of Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand etc.

only Hafiz Hashim's coach can elaborate why Hafiz's performance drop after the All england... the are probaply multiple reason why it happened... i am sure its not because lack of want of trying.... its not fair to use his example alone to dismissed us from rewarding our performing sportsman..
the reward is not only for him.. but a warning to all aspiring junior sportsman that they also will be rewarded as much if they work hard to achieve greatness....

money is the fuel that keeps the world running... it is bollocks to think that sports industry is different than that...

Laotian and Vietnamese will give whatever they can to reward their players... so will us....

there are also footballers on our side who cannot sleep thinking how they gonna feed their family.... now what we gonna do about it?

yea maybe but you must not forget that they are doing it for themselves as well. imho, the proper way to show gratitude is actually turning up to watch the league games and national games. dont just show up during semis or finals or important matches

dont think of yourself as a taxpayer for once. instead try being a human being. they gave you something and its nice of you to just give something back. its not like when your child (if you have 1) passes his/her examinations and you dont give them anything to celebrate that achievement cause you have already payed for tax and that translate to you giving them an education. smile.gif

rm5 also not that much what, but if everyone gives rm5 it will pill up as well. lets all change and instead of thinking what others can do for us, why not if all of us think what we can do for others. then there wont be anyone who is sidelined and the world would be a much better place

And we should not celebrate and feel gratitude for their achievement just because they also doing it for themselves?

Turning up for league games and national games is a good spirit... but thats for other occasion.. we are celebrating the momentous inaugural malaysian south east asia champions here.... out of population of 593 million people covering 5,000,000 km2, these are the best 22 people at football in this region.. its an achievement thats worth a reward on its own...

just consider it a RM 10 you would pay for normal league match tickets, without the hasssle of tol, parking and gasoline cost...

FAM is an Non-Govermental-Organization. Your tax money is not the bulk of their budget.

honestly speaking, i was rarely rewarded for scoring good grades simply because im doing it for my own sake =P

if we want to donate, we should donate to something that will help MY football as a whole because it will be more beneficial in the long run.

also it is not a matter of RM5 or not. i frequently donate to charities and beggars if i ever come across any.

yeah. i dont get it also.

To celebrates this occasion, they rather donate RM 199 to Nike in exchange of a shirt made of recycled bottles instead of raising RM 10 to the players who actually won it.. rclxub.gif

Showing private initiatives likes this also beneficial in the long run as the financial and moral support transpires by it will give encouragement fot current and future players that their effort is appreciated...

Turning up for league games and national games is a good spirit... but thats for other occasion.. we are celebrating the momentous inugural malaysian south east asia champions here....  out of population of 593 million people covering 5,000,000 km2, these are the best 22 people at football.. its an achievement thats worth a reward on its own...

FAM is an Non-Govermental-Organization. Your tax money is not the bulk of their budget.

i didnt say that we should not be thankful. i was merely reminding you that it is of their own personal gain to perform well as well. it is not like they are doing a MotherTeresa kind of thing =P

QUOTE(aressandro10 @ Jan 5 2011, 11:56 PM)
yeah. i dont get it also.

To celebrates this occasion, they rather donate RM 199 to Nike in exchange of a shirt made of recycled bottles instead of raising RM 10 to the players who actually won it.. rclxub.gif

urm ... more jerseys sold = more $ for FAM ... if FAM no $ ... you think they can develop as a player w/o those facilities or trainings? i dont see anything wrong with it at all.

Problem is people willing to spend their $$$ when it come about foreign league (EPL. La Liga, Serie A, J-League etc.), but when it is about Malaysia football suddenly it become controversial.

The Aku Janji should be a part of the 'personal gain'. IMO, all the poeple of malaysia who shouted at the GBK's final whistle owe it to them...

I dont say buying jersey is wrong. Its comparison between the jersey price and the amount you should contribute that is wrong.. RM 199 = Nike Jersey..OK!!! .. RM 10 = reward player...NOOOO!!..

honestly speaking, i was rarely rewarded for scoring good grades simply because im doing it for my own sake =P

if we want to donate, we should donate to something that will help MY football as a whole because it will be more beneficial in the long run.

also it is not a matter of RM5 or not. i frequently donate to charities and beggars if i ever come across any.
*
herhh, ok maybe not the best of examples but you get my drift, i hope. and its really cool if you do your part for charity, totally respect that.
but what better way to show how much we appreciate what they did on the field then to reward them? in the long run more players will work harder to get into the team which results in an influx of many talented players for our coaches to pick from. and from that even if safee doesnt perform, others might take his place.

i dont think FAM benefits much from the sales of jerseys. more jerseys sold = more $ for nike, not FAM as far as i can tell. its suppose to be a form of sponsorship, gains from sales of jerseys goes to nike. FAM only receive what is agreed between both parties. i might be wrong here, but i doubt it

showing gratitude is alright, no question about that. my point is, this tabung thing should not even exist in the 1st place. the govt/FA should have something in place already just like the RM1million per gold medal (which i think is an overkill lol) . it shouldnt be up to us citizens to create all these tabungs.

also, can anybody confirm that all they got was the prize money? im kinda skeptical that the govt didnt even give 1 cent whistling.gif

IMO, one of the triggering points of local football revolution is the start of 'not depending everything on the administrator/organizer/goverment and them blame them ' mentality..

TSAM's KAFA started the ball rolling with his aggresive re-branding and pro-active marketing strategy... the red warrior's fan then follows through with fan initiated organized supporting culture... some young boys are tired with waiting until the team qualified to the second round of the world cup to support the team, so they formed 'Ultras Malaya' to give visible and audible support to the national team for every match inconsiderate to the result on the pitch... win, lose, or draw, the players knew that they can count on the Ultra's support...

this Aku Janji fund is Sportwriter's public initiative to show public support to the team. i thinks it is very beautiful as support from the public will be more meaningful to the players then support from the goverment...

we should not only support this fund to support the players... we should also support this fund to encourage more private initative to come out and be pro-active in supporting our local team.. this wait and see then point the fingers to the governemnt attitude must end now..

*
I agree with your points except the bold one. This is not the public role. This role belongs to the G and FAM.
It's like when you score straight As in STPM, you expect your parent to reward you. This is perfectly normal. But surely you don't expect the whole neighborhood to reward you as well, do you?

to the contrary, the public are the actual customer and paymaster of the football industry... not the government... government and FAM's money should be used to develope and organize instead...

who should reward the victors mainly depend on who the victory represents.... have you heard the old days when one of of the kampung boys get admitted to the University in the city, the whole kampung will gotong-royong to hold a 'kenduri kesyukuran'.. they even collect money for his transportation and start-up..to them, the boy represent the whole kampung and its future... thats the goodwill and sacrificing spirit thats getting eroded from today's society...

for me... the 'Malaysia' in Malaysian national team does not represent "Malaysia- the government'. It represent 'Malaysia- the people'...they actually representing you... not some other people's child in your neighborhood.....they are your prodigol son doing their best to pass the exam to get your approval..... dont you think they deserve a break?

Paymaster in terms of commercial, yes. Deserve a break? Yes. But not like this kind of donation! This is not the right way. Donate money just because they won something? This is not the culture I want to see.

'donate' is not the right word.. 'reward' is the better word... and yes.. it would be sweet as well for all the athletes that won the gold medal in the recent asia games to receive 'reward' from the people...

i already promoted the Suzuki Cup fundraising because the Suzuki Cup win touch me more.. why dont you promote the Asia Games fund-raising for the sport of your choice....

they can make do with that when supporting foreign teams because them foreign teams are, literally, not their business. Local football industry cannot survive without local people making it their business to 'reachingly' support the local teams. We don't have millions of foreign cash cows to support us financially now do we...
