my xbox360 dont show anything (no display on screen at all)
just only sound. but not RROD, everything function well except that.

i all ready check the cable with try borrow my friend cable and the problem still same.

so anyone here can give and suggestion?

try overheat the xbox..

try changing the cables? Vga, Component, Composite or HDMI see if u can get picture & sound?

did you change the video setting prior to this issue?

using hdmi or the normal AV cable?

yeah, my first unit was having similar problem (black screen with sound), if its running on VGA Cable it doesnt work, only works if its using Component/Composite cables....

My xbox wouldn't start previously when use hdmi, but composite cable works. Change my hdmi cable n works perfectly. Check cables?

tq all...btw this is falcon set..so there's no hdmi just composite cable..i played one or two hour only perday before this. Lastime before it gone dark the graphic look like negative picture (sort of) then quickly i turn it off...after that ...(all dark) but not RROD, got sound , DVD player also good (can open and close ) and i already tried change it with others cable (borrow from my friend) and the result also same.

i watched on youtube how to DIY repairing but i'm not courage enough to blow my console. Any one can repair and how much it cost can quote here

dude falcon have HDMI la... falcon is before jasper.. falcon is 3rd gen, jasper 4th gen
no HDMI means ur want is older.. I think u want is the 1st gen xbox 360=very prone to RROD

solution buy a new xbox 360 slim
