My product review: I purchased Gelid gc-extreme mainly to cool down the hot i7 on my laptop, and indeed it did a very good job bringing down idle cpu temp from average of 50-68 C previously, down to 34-41 C. I'm also seeing much lower temp spikes in msi afterburner. The max cpu temp right now under high load is 71C compared to 85C previously. Only drawback is the gelid gc extreme is a bit hard to spread using the gelid applicator, but it is expected as many reviews also said the same. Overall it has the best performance for its price, and keeps cpu cool
