Below RM100?...

Why not try yangxi's player...RM200...the cheapest decent player I can think off.

Only thing is it has no network capability...but its plays movie files very well.

Take note also...you buy cheap2 stuff later dissapointed of the quality, support and playability also no meaning to buy.

i can say this, a media player is only good if the firmware is good...even that has limitations.

Don't buy WD... some formats remain unsupported even with latest firmware (31/12/10) and it hangs every now and then.

Tell me a player that never hang at all. Even my dvico with the lastest firmware also crash at time.

It depends on the series and origin - Japanese, Korean or US(US bound).
Most good picta quality ones are in mkv, but many are in avi and rmvb.

BTW Bro, you have any Transformer Animated series season3?

Bullshit...i have 2 WDTV Live, streaming via network and WIFI-N...30GB+ uncompressed BDMV file also can handle, and never hang. The only files unsupported is RMVB, which is not important if you're concerned about HD quality. And i am currently running on latest firmware. In fact, the latest firmware since late last year fixed all my files incompatibility issues due to mkvmerge changes. The latest firmware just improve some small issues regarding USB keyboard etc.
