problem to service n when it leaks, the nice cabinet n elec item below will be dead sad.gif

The aircon air intake is block by the plaster ceiling. Either the aircon will run in full blast with the bill killing you.

And yeah, problem with service.

I have a power socket originally behind my sofa, so everything hide under and behind my sofa, need to periodically clean up by vacum biggrin.gif

Understand. Your behind sofa is a wall where the socket locate.

I thaught behind sofa is a walkaway far from wall. So how to place the wire around without trip on it.

Multimedia wall cabinet conceals TV in a sliding door

I think I saw something almost similar in XZQT in 1Utama, but very pricey.
*
Doesn't it obstruct your view to the TV? When your eye focus on the TV, does the white board too. The black and white is too contrast.

I am planning to get a ready made TV cabinet from the furniture shop.

And I am planning to hang the TV on the wall, but am not sure how to conceal the cables, probably getting a big board to put on the walls?

Built in cabinet is too expensive for my budget..
*
You can try ikea ready made. It have back panel together with some option combination.

how do you ensure that your TV doesn't fall face-down from the cabinet?
(do you have a cable to securely tie the back of the TV to the wall)
*
Normally the LCD Tv have a hook and some brand come with the cable for you to additional secure the TV.

What you guys want to install into your TV cabinet usually? Or wish to have it.

Like
1) Back panel glow light for reduce eye stress
2) TV wall mount rack that can swivel for easy access back and cleaning.
3) 1 on/off switch for all
4) Fade in/out light

Currently waiting for the TV cabinet, thought putting something for easy use on the TV cabinet.

how are you planning to do that? i've read somewhere in this forum that the wall plug shall have enough length to penetrate to the wall surface. is it really necessary? btw, your tv cabinet is solid wood?
*
The whole TV cabinet will be install in coming 3week time.

They insure me that no problem with the back panel hang the big TV. So I just buy their word.

I don't no how they do it. But will know later.

Just the TV wall rack already 7.5kg sweat.gif

It is melamine.

Melamine chipboard panel can support the heavy 60-65" TV?
*
For back panel, don't think is using melamine.

60" is only 28kg
