Hi all, I need to ask, is it possible to install a TV panel like this ?
Ignore the material, I didn't put the exact material yet. I'm more concerned on the back panel behind the Flat Panel. The wiring will be concealed behind the wall, then there are blocks of wood/using melamine materiel as the base where the TV would sit on. My installer said it not such a good idea as the it's not strong enough to hold the TV. what is your opinion? Could someone advice as I really would like my panel to look somewhat like this.

Hi weikee, thanks for the great idea in fact I also had a similar one. now to find the tv bracket and also discuss with installer.. anyhow let's say I don't go with that idea, would you think if some braces were added in the wood to hold, it would be able to hold firmly? nitromx - software used is google sketchup, it's free, but you could also do something to enable some of the extra features also very easy to use.. and get a hang of.

QUOTE(ahmi81 @ Nov 20 2012, 03:19 PM) Mind to share sample of picture?? If I understood your question .. I have an example since I hacked the wall before adding the tv panel so that I could run the wires. I used PVC piping inside. Here's a pic of the wall hacked
here's the final product.
here's another view from far with some furniture in.
Another way to run speaker wires is to conceal speaker walls in the wall plugged into speaker panel adaptors available in jalan pasar.
