QUOTE(reef_d @ Jan 7 2011, 12:55 AM)
when i loose my temper, my boy will get a smack or two from me.. nothing more.. and it stings but it wont bruise him.. but lately i've changed.. tongue.gif and i hope its the real deal.. not a phase or anything.. biggrin.gif

one time i read that small children thinks their parents are the best thing in the world.. even when you 'whack' them how hard on a day, the next day they will smile at you with full joyousness when they welcome you home from work.. that sticks to me till today but i cant help it sum times i still loose my temper..

then a few days ago i was watching this stand up comedy making jokes about us as parents which is ok to beat our own child but we would end up in jail if we did it to anyone else.. and the irony? the kid is small and defenseless and we are allowed to beat them when they spill stuff while if we beat up a thief, we could land in jail for taking the law into our own hands? food for thought for me... smile.gif

so just sharing my 2 cents here..

and when the next time you are about to blow, think about the smile u are going to get from your kid tomorrow when u get back home.. i hope it cools you down like i do.. wink.gif
