I ordered BTH-V8 and item arrived in very good packaging. The product is generally good, just some *very* slight imperfection phsyically... China/Taiwan product so can't expect much. Anyway, it works well as a bluetooth headset!!!

That's weird, I have a v1.2 bluetooth key and it detects my Nokia 6681 fine as v1.2, but not BTH-V8... Could it be different batches Jimmy?
Anyway, just wondering can I use any USB cable with the appropriate "head" to charge the bluetooth headset? I just love the headset |

Well it cant be diffrent batches as i always test the units with my USB DOngle 1.2v before item being ship. Yet your item is detected as 1.2v
I affraid is best not to use any other charger other than provided charger. In which will void the warranty  |
