It's too late for me to call this stock at lowyat.net. My call was right in investlah.com (year 2010).
But, this stock should hits RM6.50-7.00 within 12 months. I expect a strong oil price + strong palm oil price will bring this counter to new high in 2011. Let's wait and see if my forecast is right or not.
The instrinsic value of Boustead Holding Bhd is around RM6.50-7.00
Watch this counter closely.

This counter did a golden cross in June 2010 at about 3.80, it has been trending strongly till it hit 6.05 on 26/10/10 then retraced lowest to 5.08 on 24/11/10, it never go back to that price for the past 1+ months, it should re-test previous high of 7.25 that set on 31/1/08. This should be consider a low risk entry as the re-test of 5.08 is about 30sen and the potential gain is about 1.90, look like the risk and reward ratio is good Hope this technical view complement your fundamental view ( strong in both oil )

Boustead Holdings awards torpedo launch contract to BHIC subsidiary
Boustead Holdings Bhd has awarded a contract for the second generation patrol vessels/ littoral combat ships torpedo launching system to Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation Bhd’s subsidiary Contraves Advanced Devices Sdn Bhd.
Boustead Holdings said on Monday its subsidiary Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd had issued a letter of award to Contraves for the project under the government defence programme.
“The letter of awards awards to CAD contracts to supply the torpedo launching system for the littoral combat ships programme. Other details are classified,” it said.
Boustead Holdings said the awarded works constituted a recurrent related party transaction for which a shareholder mandate was obtained at the company’s AGM on April 8, 2013.
“The awarded works are not expected to have a material impact on the earnings of the company for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2013, but will contribute positively to subsequent years’ earnings of Boustead Naval Shipyard as the tenure of the awarded works is long term in nature,” it said.

Boustead 3Q profit rises 25% to RM98m, pays 7.5 sen dividend
Boustead Holdings Bhd reported a 25% increase in third quarter net profit from a year earlier but nine-month bottom line fell 3%. The decline came mainly on the diversified group's lower income from its oil palm plantation operations.
In a statement to the exchange, Boustead said net profit rose to RM97.5 million in the third quarter ended September 30, 2013 (3QFY13) from RM79.5 million. Revenue climbed to RM2.7 billion from RM2.51 billion.
Boustead plans to pay a dividend of 7.5 sen a share for 3QFY13.
Nine-month (9MFY13) net profit fell to RM258.6 million from RM266.2 million. Revenue was however higher at RM7.62 billion compared to RM7.37 billion.
"For the 9-month period, the plantation division contributed a pre-tax profit of RM45.8 million (2012: RM161.8 million) mainly due to the lower average CPO (crude palm oil) price of RM2,333 per MT, representing a decrease of RM743 or 24% against last year corresponding period's average of RM3,076 per MT.
"In addition, FFB (fresh fruit bunch) crop totalling 754,728 MT was 7% short of the previous year," Boustead said.
