Hi, I'm searching for headsets for my Christmas present. Yesterday, I flip through some websites about the Apple iPhone and iPad amp chipset. I found out that my iPod Touch 1 and iPhone 3G are running on a good amp called Wolfson while my iPad 2 running on a cheap chipset called Cirrus. I planning to get either a Grado SR80i or Alessandro MS1i. The last time I went to your shop, you recommend me Grado SR80i as you said that this is the BEST for its price range. Hence, I've tried it on with a 0.22 Ordanance amp. The music quality were a perfect match and it is the BEST music quality I've ever experience in my whole life. The things wondering me is the amps. 0.22 Ordanance amp is a little bit over budget, hence, I saw Hippo Amp + Box were the best substitute.
1. Alsseandro MS1i and Grado SR80i price are only different a little bit. Which one can provides a better quality? (Please recommend)
2. Is the Hippo Box + Amp quality good? It seems like a lot people are buying it.
3. Once I get the amp, will it make a difference for me listening using iPad 2 and iPod Touch 1(which internally comes with a Wolfson chip)?
