This is my first foray into quality headphones/earphones..

As of now though, only got RM200 (max! )

I like to hear the boom boom of the bass (eg Clubbed to death - Matrix OST) but at the same time also like
individuality in the instruments.. (Coldplay's Viva la Vida comes to mind here)

Can you recommend something? Listening to music on laptop, Galaxy S.

(I'm thinking feels pro900...seems like a nice one!)

Hi, Feel Pro900 is a good choice but if u really want some Boom... then it is not a wise choice. Pro900 is more on a mid ecentric, detail earphone.
For really bass one go for Hippo Boom.

While saying this, Feel pro900 is a good earphone for u to start listening to details, especially Viva la vida has a lot details that u will miss in bass music.
