In case anyone thinking it's a biased draw, we saw the random group drawing right in front of us. Serious luck there.

UPDATE: Tournament has ended! Full brackets and standings can be found at DuskBin Esports.

All replays from the tournament will be posted soon, along with our exclusive video interview with pRoRenson and infiRevenant!

imma chinese lol. anyway i love everything from this tournament other than the internet speed and schedules. well, theres always flaws in event so that organizers can do it better next time! organizer should really learn from blitzone tourney where they can really organize all matches fluently, no breaks...and no practice comps are up! if we can open 4 rows of comp, then everyone can have set up their own keyboard on their own PC, hence no switching are required.

anyway, kudos to organizer for getting Nvidea to sponsor, we get an awesome starcraft 2 tournament T shirt, awesome gamer name tag and good prize pool. owh ya, and awesome lunch too, kapitan chicken was awesome. i would say what we get that day is >rm26 biggrin.gif (rm20 + parking lol)

As far as I know the reason why they didnt open up 2 islands for the tournament is due to the internet connection capability, pretty sure there would be a lot more dropped games if they did, so sometimes we just gotta bear with it especially when LAN is not an option for our favourite game.

Let's hope Unifi will bring revolution to the scene when its available nationwide. I have mixed feelings everytime when I see announcements of starcraft2 tournaments, excited but yet worry about how the tourney may turn out.

Let's hope TMnut has enough bandwidth for UniFi when they don't even have enough for screamyx...
Currently using 10mbps Unifi at my company, and it doesn't even reach the speed... downloads only 100kbps up and down unless its a direct download from microsoft, or any unthrottle site...

keazyc, most sites online are throttled, so its not entirely tmnuts problemo. especially those megauploads and rapidfires, unless you have premium account, its throttled.

ya, so maybe next time dont go wangsa maju? XD

blitzone DJ/BU im pretty sure they did it with Unifi, they opened more than 2 islands of comps. at least 4.

1) More computer should be opened so that gamers can check with thier assessories while waiting for the other group to complete.

2) Never organize at tbun again. Tbun management should have checked the internet configuration before problem starts. I believe it's not tmnut issue, because after they have changed the gateway setup, everything was fine. (so it's tbun lackadaisical attitude to make sure things go smoothly )

3) Tbun computers are too closed with one another, compared to other cyber cafes. ( no place for mouse and keyboard, too cramp )

4) toilet was awesome 4 star.

5) Thank you nvidia !

6) GG to all !

if the money spent on the 8 razer starcraft 2 gears were spent in internet connections, im sure it will be smooth. since majority of us did not use them at all....

cant really blame tbun though....well i know that tbun melati has a slow internet and the games are not updated etc.......and there was someone (forgot who he is) already tested the pc the day before the tourney and asked the organizers to change venue but they insisted of doing it at that cc...imo theres only 2 cc that i play sc2 without complications that is tbun wangsa and blitzone......well i hope that next time the organizers considered a bit about us (gamers) and not entirely on their marketing....

Blitzone BU PC spec is even if not better than Wangsa Maju. at least we dont need to downgrade our graphic. owh well, most of us play in lowest/mid setting by the way so it doesnt really matters. connection wise, Tbun wangsa maju is very very bad. very very bad. but some might find the razer starcraft 2 gear interesting so its your take.

They had a SC2 gathering in Wangsa Maju and everyone was playing without problem. The connection was superb. Are you sure you're not mixing up TBun Wangsa Maju with Tbun Melati?

Wangsa Maju has i7 pcs with 27" monitor and unifi connection btw
