Okay, so now I have a PS3, a bravia TV with only one HDMI port, Pioneer HT, something like this http://www.pioneermalaysia.com.my/product_details.php?id=104 and my com. I would like to plug in both my com and my ps3 to the tv, both utilizing the Pioneer HT system. I was wondering whether i could buy a cheap amp, with 2 HDMI inputs , and plug in the current pioneer speakers that I have, and get rid of the DVD player that comes with the system.

I think the sub is going to be a problem though, as it connects with the positive and negative wires.

Budget too low for new amps. U can try 2nd hand amps. Sometimes there are a people who upgrade their systems quite often.

I found this on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-VSX-820-K-Ho...G/ref=pd_cp_e_1 around rm 700, anywhere I can get it in Malaysia?

The sticker on the back tells me not to connect to any other amps, is it safe to do so?

How to compare the discounted price in Amazon to what we're paying in Malaysia? Remember to ship from Amazon US to Malaysia, you need to pay the shipping charges (thru 3rd party such as vpost) and tax. Not forgetting you need a step down transformer.

Also, you need an amp that can properly support a 4 ohms speaker in order for you to use the speaker from your HTiB.
