Hi all;

Help needed to get connected to 3G data via Adroid 2.2.1. No problem with wifi though, only 3G is the issue. I've tried various settings these couple of days, read lots of posts but to date still no idea where i went wrong. Everything else, apps etc is working great so far. Sent an email to UMobile yesterday asking for help but still no reply. Hope i'm at the right place now.. brows.gif

Try this
Type this in dialer *#*#4636#*#*
Go to phone information and check your connection there. If its still not connected then click Enable data connection

Added on January 2, 2011, 1:09 pmThanks lingch, for being the only helpful person around here. However, fyi I went to umobile times square yesterday, nobody knows how. Went to lowyat after that, tried asking a few htc booths _sales people.. Also no luck.

I went back, tried the settings a few times again.. Got tired by 3am, I decided to re-clean install the build all over again and it worked! Just like that. APN settings were already there by default..

Lesson: not build/provider/hardware issue, human error is most likely. I should've not be afraid to reinstall. ... Noob.smile.gif
