Hi All,

I'm thinking about buying a spool of Wireworld Luna 16/4 (13 gauge speaker cables) and using it for my entire 5.1 Home Theatre. I haven't setup the home theatre yet, but is it ok?? Do I need a certain cable for a certain speaker? Or can I just use it for the entire system - front, center, rear and sub?

I understand that I might have to get the ends terminated to fit the plug type, but other than that, are they any issues?

Thanks and appreciate the feedback.

It depends on your HTiB cost...budget models no much sound improvement...there is only so much you can do to improve a budget HTiB...if i were you, I better save up and get one of those HTiB that has a real AVR and more decent speaker system.

Really? Great!! If that's the case then I get to save some $$$ by buying a spool. I wonder why cable companies have so many different types of cables specifically for Center speaker, Subwoofers, Speakers, etc etc. I guess it's to make more $$$.

Thanks for the tip. Ya, I'm thinking of getting a proper AVR and speaker system. Not expecting too much sound differences but just worried that I would need a specific type of cable to connect to a specific type of speaker.

Thanks for the feedback! Anyone else have any other thoughts?

If you are serious, can split your budget. Spend more on the front 3 channels and cheaper cables for surround. Normally surround cables will be quite long and wont be cost effective if you are spending on decent cables.

I have no idea on the Wireworld Luna 16/4 so cant give comment.
