Diet
Mealworms can be provided constantly in the dish bowl (Superworms too but only for adult geckos). Crickets can be hand fed 2-3 days interval with their hopper hind legs plucked off. Their meals can be dusted with calcium and multi vitamins if preferred. Recommended to gut load their staple diet first with oats, bird feed or carrots.

Lighting and Temperature
Room temperature is the most ideal. Leopard Geckos DO NOT NEED a heating lamp neither a heat rock. Our everyday climate in Malaysia is just good for them.

Handling and Temperament
Leopard Geckos are easy to handle, most of them would just lay on the palm of your hands when u hold them, a small bunch of them will wiggle for an escape. But given time, most of the Leopard Geckos will get use to our way of handling. Listening from the many experience and adventure of Leopard Gecko owners, these amazing lizards has been giving us an endless share of fun watching them grow into their personalities

MORPH & GENETICS
Here is the unique part about Leopard Geckos. They comes in a variety of morphs (meaning coloration, patterns, designs and sizes). How the morphs are determined are based from the genetics that was used to make it. Their possibilities of differences are endless in pattern, design and coloration.

Note: Technical terms you should know.
Phenotype - This means "Visual" or "Outlook"
Genotype - This mean "Genetics". The genetics composition of the specimen.
Homozygous - Fully formed and visually visible on specimen.
Heterozygous - Carries the Genetic (Blood Type) but not visible on the specimen.

SPECIAL NOTES
- You can never house more than one adult male gecko in the same enclosure, but up to ten females may be kept together, depending on the size of the enclosure. Males are very aggressive and will fight each other to the death.
- A male will vibrate its tail rapidly when it sees another gecko; if the other gecko vibrates its tail in the same fashion, each of them knows contact has been made with another male and they will fight. If, however, a male signals his presence via tail shaking and the other gecko does not respond in like fashion, the male knows that the gecko near him is a female.
- Geckos generally pick one corner of an enclosure to use as a bathroom, which makes it easier to keep clean.
- Geckos in general are thought to bring good luck to the household in which they reside.

give Calcium withOUT D3...
just my 2 cent.

Calcium + D3 works bro. Without D3 the gecko can't digest the food they eat. Just try not to use liquid form Calcium + D3...powder form is alright wink.gif

k afta reading alot.i conclude,give D3 at a minimum,it says u cant put cal+D3 in ur animals cage...wait i post a few link...

1.(Don't use a calcium supplement with D3 added as too much D3 can be toxic.) Leopard Geckos get plenty of D3 from the crickets and mealworms they eat.
from:http://www.reptilecare.com/leopardbreed.htm

2.Also dust the crickets every other feeding during breeding season (don't use a calcium supplement with D3 added as too much D3 can be toxic).

Yeah bro too much D3 can really make your gecko sick. I have geckos that has been living for nearly 5 years now consuming powder form calcium+D3 without problems. Buy respected and trust-able brands of reptile supplements to safe guard the health of your geckos. Don't go make your own D3 supplements or even try to shave any squid bones or crush egg shell for calcium. LOL. Just stay away from liquid form calcium+d3. I've use them before and i've witness changes in feces from dry to watery to even greenish. I guess the liquid ones are really toxic. Powder form is ok because our geckos knows how much to consume as when needed. That is why always place these supplement in a bowl separately and only dust staple food accordingly not always.

Anyway....here are some explanations that I found.
