Just got my self the G110 and G500. (Second hand since June 2011) Really awesome price + I received a free SteelSeries QCK mousepad which is the hugest mousepad i've ever seen.

I've played with them for about 10 minutes only. Will use it more when i build my rig. Perhaps later at 10am or so.

Used the G500 on my netbook without any installation of drivers so i cannot comment on its performance. What I did notice is that the scroll wheel kind of sucks. Middle clicking is a task. Do it wrong and you'd be clicking the middle click left or right button. Must be really precise to get the middle click button to register the actual middle click.

I thought it was a defect but further reading around lead me to believe that it is a production issue. Read it over on gizmodo as well.

Side buttons requires real accuracy to click as well since there are a number of buttons clumped up together and having fat thumbs, i am sadly out of luck. The same is reported on gizmodo. Oh well, time to get used to it. It feels really comfortable though.

Using the mouse for the past few days on my rig. Actually i got used to the middle click. So its working comfortably right now. The side buttons are abit shoddy but not that big a deal. I rarely use them anyways.

Love both the keyboard and the mouse though.
