Theoretically speaking, it is ours to lose.
That said, I agree with maxizanc. The lads did us proud. Winning is not the ultimate goal. The goal is to build this team so that we can finally roar as we did with SuperMokh. This post has been edited by boxsystem: Dec 28 2010, 09:58 PM |

Can this match finally sparks the so call strained relationship between the two countries?
I am worried. My gf is studying there. My friend's little sister is also there. Back on that JUPE, my gf said she's so full of shit. Even some Indonesians can't tahan her. |

Yamaha Cup? Honda Cup? Kalau Olimpik Datuk Lee dapat gold medal, satu minggu holiday? Apa keco keco ni brader? Historic win nih. The fans/rakyat have been sporting enough to support the team. It is fair that the PM/Gov to reward this historical win and the rakyat with a day off. What's with these sourgrapes? Cuti salah, tak cuti salah. Even you hate the govt, don't bring your political moralities here in Football Lounge lah. Football fans don't need that. |

QUOTE(maxizanc @ Dec 31 2010, 01:35 PM) Ade je Malaysians yang rasa Malaysia ni suck. Rakyat kene mistreated all the time. Not to bring any politic issues here but I know that these guys/ppl think Malaysia is much much worse than any country. Try to go to Indonesia or Singapore for that matter. Try to live that for a couple of years. Then you'll know. |

QUOTE(superwoman @ Dec 31 2010, 03:42 PM) no wonderlah cari satu klang valley area tak jumpa. haih! -.-" A Malaysian yang dah tak reti nak tulis dalam Bahasa Melayu? Disgrace. Dia boleh bagi alasan dah duduk lama kat sana and bercampur orang sana but itu alasan Bahasa Melayu dia poor? Totally disgrace, bagi aku.i saw this link in twitter and i guess this article shown up today in this blog. so tired to see all of these. Pengakuan Jujur Anak Malaysia terhadap indonesia So far, pihak mana yang demeaning pihak mana dulu? Sebab mistake yang dibuat oleh Discovery Channel/National Geographic, perkataan Malingsia jadi popular among them Indonesians. Dorang jadi mangsa penipuan media dorang yang amat melampau, takde ke bodoh namanya tu? Banyak yang aku dengar, especially dari gf aku sendri yang duduk and study kat sana. Economy wise? Kalau kita tak hantar students pegi sana amek medicine, agak-agaknya popular ke negara dorang as one of those countries yang ade banyak doctors to begin with? Even one of the univesiti kat sana, Malaysia dah labur duit yang banyak. Kes nya, Malaysia dah tanak antar students kat situ lagi due to the strained relationship, so Malaysia stop melabur. What they did, dorang failkan final year students from Malaysia. WTF with that? Corruption? Kalau rasa negara kita teruk, negara dorang lagi cam sampah. High profile prisoners leh bayar je kat admin jail utk keluar kejap kejap. The latest and biggest corruption was last year punya case. http://www.free-world-news.net/gayus-tambu...donesia/8712306 Banyak je boleh counter balik apa yang budak mengaku orang johor tu tulis. And bagi aku memang poor reason cakap sebab dah duduk sana lama jadi B. Melayu tonggang terbalik. Try those yang duduk kat Europe, OZ, NZ or UK. Okay je lagi Bahasa Melayu dorang? Itu lagi lah, almost everyday kene converse dalam english or local languages. Pffftt. P/S : Sorry OT sket. QUOTE(miketee @ Dec 31 2010, 08:26 PM) Valid comparison, but both countries are also kinda different, in some ways. Agree on the bolded parts.Similar to Thailand, Indonesia practices "assimilation" since its early days - where all its people, regardless of puaks or races are moulded into one national identity. Hence, even the Chinese there bear Indonesian (or Thai) names, speak the language and practice the local cultures. Maybe - and this is just a guess, it's easier for Indonesians to be united because they already come from a common platform. On the other hand, Malaysia and Singapore adopted "integration" during Merdeka. The Chinese maintain their own traditions, Indians their own, and so on. For better or for worse, and due to many circumstances over the years, the racial divide is clear for all to see. It's also really annoying to hear of Malaysians complaining and belittling the team for its AFF achievement, but I think these are the same middle-class-armchair-critic folks who will also complain that the steering wheels are too hard when a car is given to them for free! But - having said that, I do think that Malaysians can easily see past skin color and get behind one of our own, regardless of whether it's Lee Chong Wei, Nicol David or Sudirman representing us on stage. And I've heard there is one politician wanted the team name to be changed to Harimau 1Malaysia? LOLWUT? Kiss Ass. |
