yup..shud be the speaker...because i was only use it for my laptop..and then..some time when i play movie, music or gaming...the speaker just suddenly no output...

Guys, my Z-5500 also having an issue not sure if its normal or not...I am using optical input, everytime I switch on my Z-5500, the volume is at zero (0) if the last played volume is below 50%. If my last played volume is at 50% then it remains at the last set volume even after I switch on again later.
Anyone facing above issue?

i did face tat problem also..my friend told me that is because i st8 off the power switch...so i try to off control pod 1st then only off the power switch...and now it seem fixed...
